Yeah can't get my best sellers back in stock because all of the other SKUs are moving too slowly and they switched our account limit before we had time to adjust

Oh yeah 😅we sure did! If you have the JS extension you can actually check it out for yourself. We went from around 3,000 BSR to 100,000 while we were out of stock. We're back in stock now, and in just 7 days have gotten back down to under 30,000 again! Just goes to show how powerful it is to stay in stock and how much Amazon penalizes you for going out of stock.

Great video! Is there a 1000 unit storage limit for new sellers? I've been getting mixed responses regarding this and I would like your confirmation regarding this piece of information.
From our understanding, there is no specific limit set for new sellers, although your storage limits are determined under the Inventory Performance Dashboard in Seller Central. @@junglescout Thank you for the article! The article states that new sellers with no IPI score don't have storage limits and have a minimum of 25 cubic feet. Would that mean I could send as much units as I want? This part wasn't clear to me since it wouldn't make sense for Amazon to provide this for new sellers. I would appreciate your clarification.
New sellers that have been active for less than 26 weeks or sellers without enough sales data to generate an IPI score during both of the two score check weeks will not receive storage limits - LJ
Great information, but we're still having a restock limit problem. Most of our sales are from first of September until end of the year. The sales start quickly and the Amazon process can't keep up with demand. Amazon can take up to a month to receive and have the products ready for purchase. Our IPI stays high ever year until August and then, when we start shipping in products, the limit decreases and suddenly we can't ship anymore. But we still need to send in more inventory for the demand for football season and Christmas. The IPI doesn't update often so it can be mid October or November before the IPI adjust, which is too late to ship. We try to limit the inventory we ship, but then products can be sold out a long time, before Amazon can receive and process the products. How can we ship in more inventory during high season? (We are a professional seller.)
So what if you are a person that sells DVD's books ect you find at thrift stores and send in one off items. Obviously you can't restock those so how do you avoid being hit with being out of stock one items.
Based on that capacity, it would be best to go with an Individual Selling account instead of a Professional account. At the moment, our Inventory Manager doesn't have the capability to track your Inventory stored in 3PL yet. 😥 I'll pass it over to our Devs and maybe we can see the functionality available in the not-so-distant future. -RS
Is there any deadline date for bringing in inventory to launch on Q4? If my inventory is coming in december or mid of december then is it better to launch in Q1?
