How to Inspect Used Car Engine | Car Engine Checking - PakWheels Car Inspection Pro Tips

Compression test is to check the condition of piston rings , inlet valves and exhaust valves . Different sounds for engine symptoms need to be checked for crankshaft knock , waterpump pulley bearing , timing belt hydrolic pully bearing , generator pully bearing , ac pully bearing etc . You have go underneath the car with flash light to see any oil leak or radiator coolant leak . Take a drive to see if it overheats and some over minor and other very expensive to fix . Drive test will reveal the engine and transmission health . Make sure heator core and ac works fine .

Hello, I was watching one of your recent videos and I lost brains cells watching this video. This is exactly how NOT to check a car. First of all blue smokes does not mean pistons rings are bad it means that there is a oil leak somewhere. It has nothing to do with piston rings. To find out if piston rings are bad you have to do vacuum testing via vacuum hose thru a vacuum line in the engine. Second of all your never supposed to open the oil cap while the car engine is running you can lose vacuum by doing this and have codes set to your cars computer. In some cases this can cause a drivetrain error code because it detects the car is losing vacuum. If you have a bad head gasket or coolant leak you will have white smoke where coolant is mixed in the combustion chamber and it will burn thru the exhaust while your driving. In most cases the engine does not make a noise when injectors are bad, you can have this set a check engine light thru a misfire of an injector you’ll have to run the engine codes and see what comes up. This video doesn’t have any good tips but rather is telling False information. Pak Wheels please train your employees on the latest automotive diagnoses of an engine. This guy sucked and did not know what he was talking about. This is coming from a trained bmw auto technician in the USA. Sincerely, Auto Technician USA.

AOA I appreciate the way you explain things in your video which is worth watching. I'm facing an issue and went to various mechanics. I own Vits F 1.0 2013 Model and using now Zic Oil 20W ~ 50W and previously was using Shell 10 - 40. Since 6 months my Car is picking up oil and reduce 1 two 2 inc after 1500KM. One Mechanic added oil treatment but afterwards the condition is same although the average is 14 within City. recently one mechanic suggested to change it's engine to fix this issue as my CAR is giving white smoke on high accelerator and black in silencer. Kindly advise so I can fix my isssue
