Well this is a work Atv with the occasional ride around my farm. I needed more air for performance. I have water repelling fabric in each inlet, acting as a filter to keep water out. Also from this position, risers can be added to avoid water entering. I plan on doing a follow up video installing those on this unit. As stated in the video, this is just a alternative for people not wanting to butcher their ATV’s.
Honestly I find your videos the most helpful for a smaller Polaris sportsman 450-570 I personally have a 450 I want to do my muffler like your custom one but I’m not sure if I could make a sturdy bracket
I don’t think you can buy just the plate anymore. Extreme Snorkels used to let you buy just the plate, but now I believe they just sell the entire kits ($300+).
Bother cool video but you know the riding that your talking about doing you could of done with out all this like to me this was pointeless for doing what u like to do from what u was just saying I work in the Polaris head quarters in Roseau, Minnesota.
Stop it 5 5 No not pointless, my Atv has more power now with this intake upgrade, my exhaust upgrade and my custom tune. But even with just this mod and the exhaust there was a definite notice in throttle response and grunt within the useable RPM band. I have a farm, so this Atv gets worked hard. There is a night a day difference in performance now. I trail ride on my property and on the road a lot with friends. This video was to show what worked for me. I have buddies here and some of my RU-vid friends ride in deep water and mud and make videos doing so and I watch and support them, but I not doing that because my Atv is a tool for my work first and a toy second. Thanks for watching.
Magnus Prime E1 oh ok I get it now that makes sense ...I love the video tho I ended up sending it to my friend so he can do the same keep up the great work ..
Yes 1. Warrior snorkel plate, or round style inlet snorkel plate of your choosing. 2. Swimming pool flirtation hose. About 10 foot just to have enough. (Lowe’s, Home Depot) 3. Zip ties 4. PVC 90 degree elbows( Lowe’s, Home Depot) 5. Rubber pipe clamps( Lowe’s , Home Depot) 6. Bendable metal strap to make bracket. ( Lowe’s Home Depot) 7. Metal hose clamps, need 2 to attach pool hose to snorkel plate. 8. Silicone, I used black water pump Permatex. I believe that’s about it.lol
Why did you even put a snorkel on it if you're not going to use it in water? Hence the word "snorkel". There's no need for a snorkel when riding in mud half way up your wheels 😂🤣😂🤣 like in your video. Do you even know what a snorkel is for? Find another hobby. You don't have a clue
