i said in the start that the carbon barrel was 6.83 its not its around 6.86, and fits juls nice and snug and can be blown out the barrel without rolling out

Would a carbon fiber be good in the hdp50 hdr series? Or stick with the steel ones that's already made?

the tuning run is all you need but yes the 50 cal can be made in carbon

yes its is possible i never done it and i got it from a metal shop 6.83 aluminum tubing
