There is actually a very easy and fast way of hanging these rads, If you measure center of where the valves connect to the center of where vent connects that will be your distance from top of bottom bracket to top of top bracket . That way you can mark and install all 4 brackets without having to lift that rad at all 👍
Great vid mate. If you don't hit studs, would you trust plasterboard fixings for these rads or is it better to use timber backing and then screw onto that?
Yeah mate those butterfly plasterboard fixings are solid! I've got a 600x2000 type 22 in my house on a dot and dab wall with those fixings and it's rock solid!
It's pretty solid stuff mate, goes off literally within minutes. Not had a leak off it yet, and it's not easy to get off once set. You'd need to most likely heat it up with a blowtorch!
