Hi, these look like the same tracks we have up. How do I remove them? I've been able to remove 1 side only by unscrewing a screwing but the other side is near the wall and I can't get a screwdriver in.
What if your ceiling is not parallel to the top of the sliding glass door? Do you mount the curtains parallel to the ceiling, or to the top of the door? The door is level, but the ceiling rises about 1.5" across the width of the door--just enough to be noticeable. :-( Also, I wish you'd shown more details with hanging the curtain. How high should the pins be installed in the fabric?
The girl has completely missed the fact that the timber above the window frame is there as a pattress, specifically for mounting the curtain rail, ie, a flat straight surface which is easy to screw into and spreads the load out the curtains. it also extends beyond the sides of the window, to allow the curtains to hang clear of the window when opened. Likewise she has fitted the end brackets too low so the centre bracket cannot be used. All in all, completely ignore everything she says!
I’m just trying to replace the front facing curtains on the track and RU-vid won’t take me anywhere better than this. My kitten is stupid and destroyed them! Help!
I've just bought the Boston heavy-duty track. Which seems to be what is on the video. But the end of the track doesn't look the same. There's no facia covering the end of my track where the rail drops into the support bracket. Does anyone know if they've changed the design? Cant return what I have without knowing if it's missing some pieces or it's a redesign. And the shop probably won't know. Thanks
too low should have been measured from top of the wood, it will reduce light bleed. Also should be at least 4 brackets to ensure adequate weight distribution

Followed steps only to realize she never allowed or took into consideration vertical or Venetian blinds that usually sit behind curtains. Thanks not as now I have to shift all the brackets scrwed into the timber. Not impressed.
