Unrelated question but ang mga local yarns, specifically cotton, ba ay machine washable? Do their colors bleed at nanghimulmol? Can they withstand multiple washes like one or two times a week? I crochet primarily for functionality rather than decorative purposes.

Yung mga local branded yarns like Canon or Monaco.. the colors fade lalo na kapag na-handwash at binilad ng direkta sa araw. Yung mga Baguio yarns like lanalon na try ko po hindi naman masyado naghihimulmul at hindi nagfade ang color. Maganda for home decors like table Runners. Sobra lang sila maghihimulmul kapag in contact sa mga gamit like when you use it as a Coin purse tapos lagi nasa loob ng bag at nagagasgas sa ibang gamit sa loob ng bag. For me po.. handwash lang po talaga ginagawa ko kahit sa mga table Runners na nagawa ko para sa bahay namin.

@@SharonLee2600 Ah, I see. Salamat po. I guess hindi the best ang crocheting para sa paggawa ng mga item na matibay at pangmatagalan, lalo no yung may repeated friction, staining, machine washing, at wear. Subukan ko na lang mag-sewing.
