In this how-to video, the FASS R&D team highlights all the steps required to install a FASS Diesel Fuel System on a 2017-2021 Ford Super Duty with the 6.7 Powerstroke diesel engine.
Our fuel systems protect the 6.7 Powerstroke's injection system by eliminating over 99% of the water, along with all of the air and debris down to 2 Micron. Supplying your Powerstroke with the purest fuel possible improves power, efficiency, and prolongs the life of EXPENSIVE injection components!
Additionally, our fuel systems improve cold-weather performance, driveability, and support any number of performance modifications.

So is the factory water separator being used in conjunction with the fass system or is it completely bypassed?

Can this be used with the SPE twin cat filter set up that replaces the stock water separator?

You might be able to plumb both systems together, but we certainly wouldn't recommend it. Our system will eliminate water, air, and debris more efficiently than other systems, eliminating the need for additional filtration.

Great question, and after you install the FASS you are welcome to remove the factory filter. There are a few different fuel filter delete kits we've seen customers use as well.

Will this work with a sump? If so, does the tank still need dropped?

Hey there, thank you for reaching out. Great question, and yes our kits will work with a sump. We actually have those on our site as well and will attach a link below for you. The sump will drill into the bottom of the tank preventing you from having to drop it. In our fuel system kits, they do come with the draw straw assembly. Which will work with your truck's factory sending unit in the tank. With either option, there are pros and cons to doing them, and we completely understand not wanting to drop the tank. I'm working on mine currently...I have a utility bed on my F-350 so I've had to mount mine differently but close to the same spot. I have talked to support a time or 2 and they have been good as well.

Great question! You'll retain the factory unit due to sensor placement.

@@FASSFuelSystems So, is the Water Separator Filter being used in conjunction with the FASS System? If completely bypassed, is the water sep sensor is there for looks and non-functional then?

I removed mine. The water separator sensor will have to be covered so you wouldn't have a water separator light on on your dash. I used a piece of foam material, made a hole and stocked the sensor inside and strapped with zip ties to keep it from coming off. I also strapped the sensor to a place between the frame and chasis to keep any water getting into the foam and sensor.

FASS stands for Fuel Air Separation System and is a combination diesel fuel lift pump and fuel filtration system designed to improve your diesel truck’s fuel mileage, and performance, and extend the life of your diesel injection system. Our systems do this by removing impurities from diesel fuel such as air, dirt, and water-which are harmful to injection components. Providing polished fuel to the combustion chamber also creates a more efficient fuel bur-improving power and efficiency. I installed the system and it trashed the rest of the fuel system.. I replaced everything injectors, injector lines, high-pressure fuel pump,fuel rails Currently waiting on my stock pump to come in for the tank
