Ive been told of a filtration system that will connect to the copper line thats underground prior to entering the house, which enters under the house no basement,pipes are 18" underground. Supposedly its warrented for 10 years for a family of 4. Ever hear of this? my water is very hard in Ca. Thanks

This feels so strange.. here in Norway we have drinkable clean water directly from the tap without any filtering on our end. The water from our tap is the same as in the voss bottles... ^^
This is only a cold water filter your hot water will still be unfiltered its best to get a filter for the main line going into the house before heated.....
The lifetime cost of this system is very expensive. Once I saw her price of the fillets I was rather surprised. We have a large family so if imagine Wed be replacing every 1-1.4 years. At $180 for 2 filters that's almost as much for the initial set up.
Yes, but you're not supposed to drink that water. hot water is mainly used for cleaning etc. It's recommended that you use something like a kettle to heat cold water if you are intending to use it for drinking.
