J. U. N. K. The 36” (and I assume the 32” also) needs to be shimmed on both sides??? 1/4”+ total. And the screen is easily removed from the outside by just pulling the spline out????
Great Video! hopefully not a dumb question for ya. Does the Larson storm door allow you to mount handle on either side (left or right swing) or do you have to order a specific left opening or right opening door? Larsons website somewhat indicates you can mount door for either opening, but yet a few youtube videos do not address that? thankyou!
Al, it has been a while but I believe the door is universal meaning when you decide to place the hinge on one side the lock assembly can be placed on the other side. Just be sure that the type of locks you buy is also universal. Good luck brother.
pureelegance3, my door had an awning which limited it’s exposure to the elements, if your door is in direct contact to the weather, I would recommend getting weather treated wood and after the install insulate or calk any seams to avoid water leaking in the door way.
