On the headliner retract it would be easy enough to wire in two limit switches for full open and full closed so you cant over throw it and burn something, on the glass retract motor it would be tougher -
Looks great. I believe it is a momentary double pole double throw switch. I have used them with power seats. I also used auto reset circuit breakers instead of fuses. You can find them in cars with power windows and seats.
you could install some thing like a four port USB hub on that thick gauge wire and then anytime you got a dash cam, gps, radar detector, or rearview camera system for a trailer: you could just plug the USB wire into the hub, instead of running the wire down to your cigarette lighter
I've watched this build progress, and I'm shocked at how much progress you've made. If someone asked you to fabricate a 1965 Ford Crew Cab (just the cab, including doors, etc.) as a side hustle, how much would you charge?
Maybe in the future not planning on right now I'll post about it if I do I get so many inquiries about it it will be hard to not have the price go up on it
