Mate you’re an absolute legend ! Struggling to understand the instructions my shower unit came with so I RU-vidd it and came across your video - turns out we have the exact same unit. Proper clear step by step guidance and you’ve saved me a lot of stress haha !
I have a similar enclosure (but square pivot door) which I'm attempting to put together now from Bathroom Mountain but those instructions.. 😮🤔👎 Glad I found this video! Thanks Craig.
Wonderful guide thank you! My only question, what about the screws that are going through the frame and into the tiles? Does that not need any silicone? I understand no bead down the profile as it will let any condensation filter down the profile and back into the tray.
Thanks! No, as it will be capped off it won't have any contact with any moisture so it should be fine! You could strike a line of silicone on the outside of it to cover any gaps if you wish with a clear waterproof sealant like Multi-Use or GP
Thanks for the very good video! One question I have about the side panel… (11:45). It looks like it is not fixated by a frame, top nor bottom? If I understand correctly, it does has vertical frames on the side, but can’t is slide out of those, should someone accidentally lean on the sliding door? The screws in 20:12 surely don’t actually go through the glass to let the glass take that force do they?
Hi, so you just temporarily fix it to the wall, then after the glass goes in you tighten the frame to make it stronger. and at 20:12 there are already holes drilled through the glass so its just a case of putting the screw in and tightening it up from the other side Thanks mate!
@@MrandMrsDIY ah ok, thanks! So those holes actually go all the way through the glass, not just through the frame the glass is in. I guess the shower enclosure came with those holes already pre-drilled right?
Hi , hired someone to install this reversible door in my bathroom but he couldn’t figure out how to do the door correctly so please can you help me with that please
