I Installed Remote Start On My 2020 Rav4 LE!!
My Rav4 LE is a base model and didn't come with remote start. Let's install a StartX Remote Start Kit for those cold mornings!! Let's get started!!

Thanks you your video I just installed remote starter for my 2009 rav4 diesel today. It's a euro spec didn't know if it's going to work. It's a pts not key. It really easy. It come with 1 cable connected to ignition cables and one cable to obd2 then program. That It's. It's actually worked.

Awesome video. Just ordered one for the wife’s Rav4. Where does the box sit when you put everything back together? Does it a have a bolt hole to mount it somewhere?

Thanks for the kind words!! From memory… I don’t think there are mounting options for the box. There is just so little room under the dash that really the only thing you can do is just find a place to “nestle” it in amongst the wiring harnesses. I haven’t had any issues with the box moving around.

Yes, after programming both keys work.

Whenever you connect to the car once encrypted, do we have to connect the remote start cables in a certain pattern ?

My RAV4 2021 push to start doesn't have the ability to remote start from a key fob. I am under the impression that this would fix this, but it also doesn't have a memory feature to remember the prior AC/Heat settings, would this fix both of these issues?

StartX has a separate kit for the push button start models. I’m sorry, I’m not sure about the memory feature issue.

Hi. For some reason after installing and programming done. I put everything back and remote won’t start. Even lock and unlock won’t work on remote. Have you had this issue? Or Maybe harness issue? Thanks for video

I haven’t. Go back and check all your connections per the instruction manual and reprogram it.
