Great video, just what I was looking for, I was hoping it was the motor on the inside but it’s now a bigger job as it seems to be the regulator, hey! Ho!
Thanks - possibly a few of the early steps glossed over, but worth watching just to learn that the motor can be removed from the outside. I assume this means that there's no need to remove the inner door card, is that correct?
Why did you remove the inner door panel? The motor can be unscrewed from the main part of the regulator once it is unscrewed from the door itself (from the outside).
Any ideas how difficult swapping an electric regulator to a manual one would be? I have just brought a replacement offside rear door, came to collect it and found out that the window is electric. Should have checked first I guess! Great video, by the way!
Never done one, I would stick with the what it was from factory if I were you, you will have to change door panels etc.. to have it manual. makes the car look a bit odd as well & considering they are not expensive to sort out. Thanks for your nice words and I hope you get it sorted.
Has anybody had a problem getting the passenger side door handle off when changing window regulator? I have all bolts out and door lock loosened. Any help is great thanks.
Anyone doing this DONT be tempted to buy a non OEM part for this job Even if you can get it to work the plastic runners are not grease and made of poor quality plastic. Wont last long and sound horrible every time the windows are opening and closing
