I have a two questions: 1) I've installed google analytics script code into the Parent theme header! So will it overwrite if i update the parent theme in future? 2) I am also running some Custom scripts using a plugin , so will it overwrite the same?

What about when you add JavaScript in header.php under the header tag where does that go in the Child theme?
