A word of advice to whoever is making these videos. The BGM is way too loud during most of the video. It's drowning out the presenter, and the fact that it's louder at some times and softer at others is extremely distracting. I don't know if it's tied to how loud the presenter is speaking, but it should be a consistent volume and never anywhere near as loud as the presenter, especially considering that the presenter was clearly picked for his technical acumen over his public speaking skill (the proper choice, btw). Other than that, nice vid. Very helpful.
I'm guessing people would really like to hear what the fans would sound like. There aren't many (if any) videos that show what the fans/pump sound like.
Are you going to have RGB fans for your AIO and for the case eventually that match the q60? Also are you going to make any other size AIO like 360 or 280?
As much as i want to get this. Nexus software a complete mess for me still. Have to shut it off when i boot my Y70 touch PC cuz it makes my cpu thermals go from 40 to high 60's
Did you mention that the radiator hose inlet and exit pipes have to be higher than the pump head? This is an important point for pump longevity. This might be a factor for your presenter's RMA concerns earlier.
the inlet/outlet pipes don't have to be higher, as long as any one portion of the radiator is higher than the pump it is okay. That way air is trapped in the radiator.
The dual pumps in the Q60 are located inside the radiator, so when the radiator is mounted vertically like in the video there is no risk. If the radiator is mounted to the top of the case, the risk is slightly greater but our longevity testing has shown the cooler should last for many years even under unrealistic coolant temperature conditions. In either case, our warranty would cover any issues that come up.
@@AndrewMartinNZ Sorry for the confusion on this, the 180W referenced above is the max PSU power draw the THICC Q60 can utilize. The Q60 has a massive headroom of over 350W for CPU TDP support. Combined with the dual harmonic pumps and 52mm thick heat exchanger, the THICC Q60 is engineered to tame even the most demanding modern CPUs on the market with ease.
@@hytebrand Thanks for the clarification. I checked the local suppliers in New Zealand, Computer Lounge, it's on back order. Any idea on when you can supply ? Also have you considered a 280mm update?
