I am so happy that our fellow South Africans are finally doing their own RU-vid videos. Thanks so very much Ecologicaltime. This is awesome. So happy that these parts are also available in SA. However, can you tell me the pinout for this cable and perhaps what the part number is for it?
A suggestion you could actually take the charger board and heat shrink that since you don't need the actual cigarette lighter case.... nice video very informative
Hello mate i really like your video but i have a question, could you not get the usb power from the same area as aux connection area there are a lot of wires in the same section, i am a qualified electrician and have the same car i wanna do the aux install and a usb charging point so your video is just perfect. Do you think it is possible to do that thanks ever so much for a fantastic tutorial video.
I would like to ask you what to do when your aux is succesfuly connected but I do not have aux button on radio or even CDC button to press it so AUX INPUT IS ACTIVE, is there any other way to find it or radio?I have mercedes benz year 2003, C200elegance
I have a 2008 cdi and it already has an aux jack in the glovebox. It also has a cd player, but, I want to listen to music on my usb. I sometimes use an aux to aux cable connected to my phone. But then I have to use my phone while driving and we all know this is stupid. I've bought a usb to aux cable. But obviously something is missing, because no music is playing. Plus, I want to be able to skip songs by using the buttons on the steering wheel and on the hud. I've visited a merc dealer here in the uk and they said there's nothing I can do. BS, in my south african opinion. Can I, go to a scrapyard, and remove the usb port, cables, whole lot, from an earlier model and install it in my 2008 model? Or I could buy it on ebay, but if it doesn't work it's money wasted.. Any advice maybe?
Are you saying your cable converts your digital store of music to analog? The aux jack is analog and USB is digital. Since i have not done this i cant say it it will work. I did change a head unit from the merc radio to a Pioneer and then installed www.amazon.com/Axxess-ASWC-1-Universal-Steering-Interface/dp/B00B4PJC9K/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=steering+controls&qid=1565331621&s=gateway&sr=8-4 to control the Pioneer radio. This worked.
@POV Adventures Thanks. If I'm not mistaken that part is for the W202. I have a W203. Not sure if the part will work. The part number I found for the W203 is A2034401808. That Is why i am confused
My car sterio (Mercedes Benz w203 c320) will play for a few seconds and then the sound goes off. After some time, when I off and on it again, it will still produce sound for few minutes and go off again. I need some information on how to resolve this issue.
