I put one of these in my 2000 Honda Legend, it worked flawlessly! If you want a cheap, quick and easy Bluetooth solution for an older car, the Tranzit Blu HF is a good option.

How is the sound quality? comparable to a cd?

Did you have any problems with the volume? I have to turn up the volume very high on my car radio to hear the streamed music or phone calls.

@@johnzelahy8591 did you change the volume setting on the unit itself, not the stereo?

Many cars that still have double din radios are much harder to remove. It took me around three hours and an aftermarket dash kit to install an aftermarket radio in my 2007 Honda Civic. Unless you really value the stock look in your 10 your old car, it's probably worth it to install an aftermarket radio, especially after you've spent all the effort to remove your radio already.You can get a really good one with am/fm, bluetooth audio and calling,aux, usb, hd radio, sirius, and CD (if you want) as well as better audio quality than stock for

An aftermarket radio, as this car is able to take one, is still a better choice and is just as much of a process to install. Looks nicer, has more features, can control devices from the head unit, is more integrated, has more features, and has better sound quality than the stock unit. Doesn't cost that much more either.

Hi , any recommended fm transmitter? And dose it expand the band of the radio station frequency ( to be odd and even bands frequency) or just playing memory cards and connect to phones

Thanks for making this helpful video! I installed the iSimple Radiomod in my 2006 Subaru, and it's static-free, but the volume is low. While I was adjusting the frequency and gain settings, I turned up the gain all the way and the loudness seemed to match local radio stations, very exciting! but after I put everything back together and started up the car, I find the sound from my iPhone way lower than radio signal, even with volume all the way up on the radio and on the phone. Any idea what happened?

Are you serious? A how-to video that skips over the most difficult parts of the whole job, how not helpful at all.

wiring.

@mfalme254 7 лет назад
indeed. he glossed over the wiring as "connect red lead to read lead and ground which shouldn't be hard". Theres a set of pink wire that went completely unmentioned. Oh and by the way at 5:12 the wires shown are the pink ones but he's talking about the red ones lol

The part with the fusebox. I didn't understand what he meant. Are these Aux fuses?

Show the aux one and how you’d do with the cable!?
@atomsk1646
@atomsk1646 Год назад
It's the same process except you will have an aux cable coming from the modulator. Just gotta find a good spot to run the aux up to your center console.

I'm thinking to try this. I usually pull apart the dash and swap out the factory stereo for basic usb/bluetooth, but annoyingly my 2006 Nissan has a standard double din stereo but the front display/fascia part is a big piece of plastic with controls for the heater as well and has no way to access a single or double din stereo. A replacement fascia which allows aftermarket stereo is 300bucks!!! So this is my only option without hacking apart the plastic surround, something i prefer not to do for later selling!

Marcus M fm transmitters sometimes constantly have static certain places around north america. modulators eliminate that

Appreciate the effort but how many people have a 2004 Mercury Marquis (unless you're a senior citizen). Should have used a Honda, Toyota or Nissan.

it doesn't really matter the type of car used. with the exception of accessing the rear of the radio, the installation is pretty much similar.

Not liking this at all. If you are lucky enough to have a newer car with out the tech you want & it has a single or double din size radio (like this Crown Vic) get a deck with at least a USB in or better (Apple car play ect.) you will be much happier with the sound quality & features . If you have something you can't change the radio (my 05 TSX W/NAVI)their are better ways to add Bluetooth & aux in & they are not much harder to install
@bertman1971
@bertman1971 8 лет назад
Sure. The iSimple modulator sells for $25 and the cables will run you another $10. A new head unit costs considerably more, and will typically be more complicted to install.
