Hi, I have the same subwoofer, but uses the speaker wire as a signal into the amplifier. I bought a radio with an output directly to the subwoofer. I wonder if it makes sense to modify the installation by connecting with an RCA line. Doesn't my solution significantly reduce/limit the bass from the source?
I understood everything. But from where did you gave the powersupply..? You didn't show that properly. 😢 From the same wires you gave the supply or from the battery..? Please please clarify this brother..
Careful with the EA with remote model, you need a headunit to control the signal. Otherwise you can't control the sub. (volume, frequency, deep/dynamic etc)
I just passed it through the holes beneath the dashboard sir going to the hood, and directly tap to the positive of the battery. The yellow wire of the subwoofer has a fuse with it.
It can be installed anywhere in the car sir as long as it rests well and flat. But you'll be needing extension cables if you'll install it farther from the sterio.
I think fixed mounting would be unnecessary sir as it doesn’t even move a bit even if at max volume. I just lay it on the floor beneath the passenger’s seat.
