However I want to remain as hidden as possible I have a VPN but I would also like to spoof my HWID before I start browsing. I prefer to use a Macintosh over other computers as it works well and I am used to the system. Is there any way to spoof HWID on Macintosh?

Hello my friend, well I did everything as instructed. The only problem was at the very end. I didn't use --testnet, because I did not want to run just a simulation with worthless bitcoins, so I left it out. The program started up, but without a connection. Solid red dot on lower right conner. So, I stopped the application and just opened up the app outside of using the command line. The app opened up and asked me for my passcode. I entered it and, wala a good connection with green light. It works that way, but isn't that defeating the hole method of trying to use a command line, so that it will run through tor? How do I get around using --testnet, so that I can make a real connection through tor? Thank you.

I get all the way to setting up the socksv5 proxy and it tells me the file/directory doesn’t exist but I see tor in my applications?
