Hey Gamer Poets, I'm having an odd situation. I've bought the anniversary edition for the special edition (what a mouthful) for skyrim on my steam account and yet only Survival, curios, saints and seducers, and fishing made it into the game however the rest did not download, and the Creation Club says I haven't bought them off Creation Club in the skyrim menu screen yet. Could you explain or make a video showing how to get Creation Club credits or at least show how to properly download the anniversary edition? Thanks
when you every time just watch the videos cause you like the format. the its explained and the voice explaining everything. havent been modding for a while still watch those 😂
Once again, you've created a tutorial with the highest signal-to-noise ratio possible (and the most soothing and confident radio voice imaginable - inspiring followers everywhere). Thanks again!
Michael, the quality and format of these has grown and improved so much over the years... And that is a high bar because it was amazing from the get go. Great job, and thank you for making modding understandable.
I really enjoy these videos. I finally started modding Skyrim again after the last update broke everything. I’m constantly going back to your videos to double check that I’ve done things right :)
i didn't know this was a thing. i usually just repack all of the CC content for use in MO2 like any other mod. i have a few load orders where none of the CC content is present. even though i will probably continue doing it this way and never use this mod, it's nice to know that it exists if for some reason i might want to at a later date. as always, thanks for your informative videos! 👍
I had watched your previous version of this video just yesterday, great you released a new one after i’m re doing my modlist. However i had a problem with doing this on 1.6.640 with only a few CC mods installed and using the old 1.6.640 USSEP the game wouldn’t launch. Anyway thanks for your hard work😊
This is super helpful to me I was trying to figure this stuff out the other day and wondering how lists where doing it. Super easy after seeing it don’t thanks.
@@gamerpoets Yea it's not that good some actually feel like the break the lore..I would't say that they are lore friendly 100%, close but with a bit of handwaving it's now lore?
Ah yes, the best Skyrim guide maker ever. Been a while. Also, 90% of my AE cc mods are just gone all of a sudden while I was modding. Not even in the game folder anymore. Any insights on that one?
Any chance you could teach us how to use the Skyrim AE/SE creation kit to make some content? Btw, love your tutorials, always reliable when I run into issues.
So happy whenever theres another video of you doing your thing, the best at it too! Question though, is it now worth it to upgrade to AE from SE? I've been able to keep my Skyrim game from updating for years now but wonder if the mod scene is built enough to come back around to it
It's reall opinion. There's a very minor (negligible?) performance update due to some windows thing being updated (Its been to long to remember what it was). But yeah, likely not something that you actually notice at all. Then you get the content from AE if you like it. Some is pretty decent. I don't personally use most. A lot of people ( most? It was most for a while anyway) still downgrade to early pre-AE versions. I'm a bit out of touch with some of the major mods at the moment...
@@gamerpoets I think I'll let my install of SE stay as for now then. 200+ mods would be a lot to redo anyway, even if it is a strangely fun thing to along the way lol
I have seen instructions online how to have multiple installs of different versions of a game, I have not done it myself but it seems to work, I'm sure if you Google it you could find it @@kahale
I don't know that I'll be going that deep into my own games in the near future. Lack of time to dive into certain things. Lots of new videos as well as updates planned.
i cannot download the CC content :( it just says "downloading" at main menu and instant complete... have only free ones even though i have AE on steam, linked account with bethesda and everything tried running as admin, clearing appdata/documents, verifying files, wifi method nothing works it just doesnt start download in menu after selecting CC its empty, there is no O to download all or anything, its a clear install, please help
no matter what i do i cannot get past the step at 1:30. he instructs to “pack it into an archive” and then references his video that just tells you to download 7-zip. i have a Lenovo Legion laptop and i have no idea what i’m supposed to do after i select pack into archive. a window comes up with which i have no idea what to do with. it sounds so easy it’s probably too simple to mention but please by the nine someone explain this to me in crayon-eating terms. this is one of TWO tutorials that seem like they’d be so easy to follow that just glosses over this part. i need to see click by click what exactly i’m supposed to do because i am not tech savvy at all and i’m so afraid of messing something up and having no idea how to fix it.
Sir, I want to ask, if I have installed all the CC content into this and I run it again, will nothing happen like I will install 2 of the same content?
My Skyrim crashes cause I didn't pick some anniversary edition mods and the cause it's the unofficial patch it can't be activated even when I activated and launch the game it crashes and see the unofficial patch plugin deactivated when i use loot the unofficial patch plugin is red and messages tells that cc mods that I didn't pick are missing
Weird, your list of CC files contains a lot of files that start with cc, but on my list I only have like 8 (4 .bsa and 4.esm/esl). Did I get less AE content?
This video isn't downgrading. That's a different thing entirely. If you do downgrade can you still use CC content? People have told me yes. I haven't tried it but CC content are just mods. Pretty much the same way any mod you would download from nexus is made. The only thing I don't know off hand is if any of the CC stuff relies on specific versions of the game.
