Hi cheers for the tutorial! Before I do it though I wanted to know this ROM is stable and if there are any problems at all? Also will this increase the size of my internal storage? The only reason I really want to upgrade from lollipop is to increase the 2gb internal storage as it's really nothing for apps. I know you can copy to sd card but there's always so many glitches with that. Thanks for the replies!
+mattfreedom2002 charge time is like 5 hours to full and full charge last 1 and half day on stand by, otherwise surfing and youtubing over wifi will not let it last more than 2-3hrs... Battery is poor..
hmm that sucks. I'm currently on lollipop 5.1.1 with cyanogen mod 12.1 and doom. I guess the battery life is about the same. Did you use lollipop? Do you think the upgrade to marshmallow is worth it? thanks
+mattfreedom2002 Nope, i didn't used lollipop on this device but i would say staying with cyanogen is best option because it has some features that this AOSP rom don't have and it is not a easy job to get partitions ready. Marshmallow battery optimization is great use it if battery goes down by 25%.
however, to get it to work I had to reboot before flashing rom. I then had to choose a small version of gapps as I kept getting error messages when trying to push the 'stock gapps' to my phone. I also can no longer access my phone like an external hard drive on my pc, only through adb shell.
I didn't partition to my device before. Im using uCyan 12.0 lollipop rom. Which steps do you recommend for me? I really dont know how i partition my xs.
+gizmoddict okay thank you. Last one, mikybart released the nAOSP 6.0. If they are not same installition. Can u give me some advice? If you checked it of course :)
Good night, my friend, I have a lot of doubts, I installed Android 6.0 Marshmallow on my Sony Xperia S, but it does not recognize the menial extension and it keeps appearing " 'Google Play Services has stopped' 'as I fix these errors. Thank you

Hey, I followed your guide but screwed up by installing the wrong rom and lost all internal storage in the process now i want to restore the original partition and no one on xda seems to have made a guide for this thing for someone who wants to go to their original rom/partition,etc Could you please help me with this?
+Leopoldo Morte Though that thought occured to me,I was not sure that flashing stock ROM via PC will restore the original partition or it will just flash back ROM files...are you sure that it restores the partition ,don't wanna further screw up this device😅😅
i have xperia s 32gb and i tried to install rom and gapps like you did and i re partitioned it but can u guide me how to repartition cause i am trying to repartition by watching your video but i am not able to so can you guide me. after that when i install aosp marshmallow when i start my phone it says encryption unsucessful and after i am not able to start my phone and not able to boot in TWRP also so please help me :)
how did you get twrp recovery on your phone? on my phone it doesn't work it says it cannot find the partition or there is no permission ( i tried it through fastboot )
+Philip Chang Install PDANet Drivers it worked for me...I';m on Windows 10. And also try Flashtool Drivers for Sony Devices. One more advice is to boot windows 10 in advance startup and disable signature verification (as my option no. was (7), in my boot option).
la unica diferencia es la velocidad del procesador, pero este metodo jala en ambos, ademas es procesador ya esta overclockeado, asi que no hay problemas, siempre y cuando sigas al pie de la letra las indicaciones
On Xperia S , the recovery is dependend of the kernel it is running. Install a kernel with a recovery included (Doom kernel for instance). Rebooting that kernel prompts a splash screen, hold or repeatedly press the up button and a recovery windows will pop up
+Pathik Baruwal Yes it should, practically both the phones have same software The only difference being that SL was overclocked by Sony. So everything made for S should work for SL.
What did you do? If it doesn't power on anymore, it is hard-bricked. If you don't know what hard-bricked means, it's a hard to fix problem in which the recovery is inaccessible and the device doesn't power on anymore. At least tell me what you did cuz it will be costly to fix or even more costly than getting a new phone.
