Doesn’t work with this method. In theory you’d need the Windows Store installable version, or a .EXE of GPS to work with WSA. I agree with your take as I couldn’t get The Weather Channel nor any non-Amazon smart home apps to work, sideloading them just crashed after trying to launch them.

@Britec09 did you forget to mention something? Hyper v and such are only available on pro, education and enterprise versions of Windows, I've noticed a few mentioning this issue in the comments.

Hello Britec09, I want to disable my pc's in built bit locker app or encryptor app that deals with encryption and decryption. This is b'coz i think ransomware virus uses this built-in encryptor app i.e. Bitlocker to lock all files. Could you showcase in video how to disable bitlocker app. Also show no standard account be able to use bitlocker. Only admin can access and use it. Please make us understand through video. I'm looking forward for this.

FIX: "THIS APP WILL NOT WORK ON YOUR DEVICE" One thing, if you're from outside US, say India, in my case, change your Region to US, Go to Settings > Time & Language> Language & Region > Under Region, Country or region, Select United States. This should Fix the problem.

Don't like to disappoint anyone but, it doesn't work. Using Windows 11 v. 22H2, 8Gb RAM and SSD. In Windows features found "Virtual Machine Platform" there is NO "Hyper-V" feature. Going to Google Play, NOTHING installs.

NOTE THIS WILL NOT WORK hyper-v was there until i tried the 1st part then it disappeared so you cant do this unless you PAY MS MONEY I'll wait for a threads desktop app In most cases, this problem is caused by operating system or hardware requirements not being met. To be specific: System requirements: The Hyper-V role can only be enabled on Windows 10/11 Enterprise, Windows 10/11 Pro, Windows 10/11 Education.

I've windows 11 on an unsupported hardware. I don't see amazon appstore in MSAppstore. I believe it's probably cause I'm Indian. India hasn't been granted access to WSA

Amazon store is not as robust as Google Play Store, which is why I uninstalled this.

Microsoft's implementation of this is pretty stupid.. There's a workaround that Installs The Playstore to really do this properly

spoiler warning, your android invironment is still a virtual machine, like in bluestacks, so its not really native, I would suggest duel booting windows 11 with android instead

Please make a video on how to run Windows 7 on WIndows 7. Like full screen, seamless, at full speed, so you can just make Windows 11.. totally disappear and forget about it. And enjoy Windows 7 but with modern drivers on modern hardware with modern support, but not have to do a single thing inside Windows 11 except start the VM. That would be heaven. I think it's what everybody wants. Nobody cares aobut ANdroid Apps. They're bad enough to have to use on a phone.

@@edfo7068 I've been suffering with Windows 10 beaten up to look as much like Windows 7, and it just gets in the way of everything. You don't do any productive work with this steaming tvrd of an operating system. As long as I stay out of the control panels and file explorer I'm fine, but as soon as I have to go into those it's like a WTF is this SH1t nightmare.

@@choppergirl dayum that sucks. I just use windows 11 with a debloat software and use open source programs and it runs smoothly. If your not that much of a gamer try depping ur toes in linux, it can runs smoother then windows. But ill just stay with windows

no, you need both vm platform and hypervizor platform, you don't need hyper v

none of those will work since they. use their own clients instead of the vm client built into windows, pretty much everything from microsoft relies on virtual machine platform
