Installing Arduino is very easy. Just follow the following steps and there you go... So let's begin!
Step 1. To install Arduino first you just need to download .exe file from the following Link:
www.arduino.cc...
Step 2. After downloading Arduino just run the .exe by double-clicking it.
Step 3. You need to click the License agreement as shown in the video.
Step 4. Now after the installation of the Arduino in your Operating System just simply connect your Arduino Uno to your Laptop/ Desktop. Then set the port number to com3, as shown in the video! And there you go!!

I am totally new to this. I think I downloaded the Arduino software but, it just says installed there is no 'done' message. And in the bottom right corner it says... ardunio avr board has to be install manually? Where do I get that? I have the board hooked up. This is taking FOREVER!! I got a kit off of amazon and the description said nothing about additional software. It didn't even come with a CD. I'm going to send the kit back.

Ok. You only need to check if the program has detected your port, if not check the upside part of the screen where is an image of a little thing that looks like a tree and click on it, then if you connected you Arduino to the PC, there will appear the name of the board and you just need to click on it and that's it

You know this Windows 10 and 11 is the most funky as operating system in the 24 years that I've been playing around on the internet and designing software the adreno IDE 2.0 took a minute and a half to load in on a Panasonic Toughbook shortly thereafter the Windows 10 crashed on an update I installed Windows XP now the 1.8 version loads in 4 seconds, Panasonic Toughbook is as fast as my gaming computer now with XP on it Microsoft destroyed their software the people that work there don't have any brains at all the people that invented the software a lot of them are now dead and all the people that work there they don't know what they're doing
