Yes you can, but the chance of sagging is slightly bigger - the general rule for any subbase with artificial grass: the subsoil has to be levelled and has to be water absorbing.

We offer a warranty of 10 years, but the lifespan can easily add up to 20 years. Regarding rain, there are perforations in the backing which let the water sink through, regarding sun, we add a UV protection to all our grasses.

Remember with artificial grass you don't have to waste precious water and you don't emit harmful gases from the lawn mower. There are perforations in the grass which let the water drain.

Hi Rosana, the grass has drainageholes who can absorb the water, this may take a while though, the process goes slower. If you have a dog I would do it under the fine type 1, but it's rather optionally.

It's a weed membrane or geotextile to prevent weeds coming through. It's safe to play on of course.

We've secured the grass but it's not specifically mentioned in the video, moreover, the sand infill also adds extra weight.

We never use staples on the seam, which could harm the overall joint. We secured the grass onto the soil, but we didn't film this. There are a lot of types of soil that could be appropriate and they all require a different approach to fixate (nails, screws, glue,...).

It all depends on the situation, if it's pretty much square then it will take 2-3 hours max. If there are curves, borders, plants, trees,... then it's more difficult and it could take up to 5 hours to do so.

Hi Varad, what do you mean? The joints were made with tape and glue. The edges were cut with a knife.

We've added perforations in the backing of our grass to let the water through.

I would advise buying an ultrabond turf pu 1k, we have these in stock but you can also find them online.

Hi James, the grass can absorp the water via drainage holes who are inserted in the backing. So if you haven't got issues with the water now, then you will not have problems when installing artificial grass either.

Right after installation, it's advisable to give the grass a good brush-up. Afterwards it will require little to no maintenance.

Granite dust is ok, but make sure it's sufficiently leveled. What do you mean by sand as top layer? The sand infill after the grass is placed? Then yes this depends on the type of grass used. Not so much the weight but the density will determine the amount of sand needed.

You can fixate using nails or ground pins. The sand also gives extra weight.

This depends on the sub soil, we advise a cement based soil where we use screws. If you want to use regular soil you could indeed fixate with nails.

Hi Dom, pet ‘mess’ will not affect Namgrass, nor will it discolour the grass.The installation process does differ slightly if you have pets, for example, we would recommend not infilling with sand as this can hold moisture and therefore more likely to retain pet odours. We would also recommend a shorter pile height as its easier to clean. Your grass will need to be hosed down at least every 3-4 weeks. However, the frequency of this differs depending on the time of year and amount of use.
