Hey there! Is there any connection (with cable) between the 2 plates or is it just a matter of replacing and screwing? What is the advantage of the SDI QUAD card if it does not add any input? Thanks!
Dear @Marquesaninha! no need to extra cable connection. There is small board between the two cards for connection. Decklink Extreme card output support up to 4K(4096 x 2160 60fps) and SDI Quad output support 3G Full HD only. And it is used for (SDI 4K to SDI Full HD) down converter.
Hello @marquesaninha. According to Blackmagic it only supports 1 video input/output. and still i communicating to 3 ports are not response any output also. Let's see what happen.
Blackmagic reply to our mail: "4K Extreme 12G is a single video capture & Playback card. It only supports 1 video stream input & or output. Adding a Quad SDI daughter card does not change this card to accept 4 independent video stream input. Extreme 12g itself only 2SDI input A & B ports. Therefore, to accept Quad link, it needs to add Quad daughter card to allows Quad link." etc we cannot show all email in this comment box. Our testing & communicate with blackmagic is still continue. If any new update we will inform you and if you have also any new update, then share with us. @marquesaninha. and thank you Ana Cláudia Marques for your comments and supports us.
@@RiBajra Hello! Good evening, how are you? Any news about the daughterboard? I still don't know what its use is, if not to add more inputs... Thank you
@@RiBajra Good afternoon! Thanks again for responding... Blackmagic decklink 4k Extreme 12G, Blackmagic Decklink 4k 12H Audio and Blackmagic Decklink Extreme 4k AVStream appear, but the card does not appear...
