Today's video I add a marine bluetooth amp with a set of marine speakers to my neighbors golf cart. They didnt want a stereo on the dash and wanted to be able to control everything with thier phone.

Random question, I just tracked my ignition wire back and it is hooked up to my solenoid. Is it okay to move it from that location and connect it to the relay instead? Great video by the way!

Thats going to be the wire that has power on it at all times. You need the other side of the key switch.

Excellent video and love your channel! Quick question... If I have the Ecobattery lithium conversion installed on my cart and the provided DC converter in the Ecobattery package is wired to the switched power on the key (and therefore supposed to turn off when the key is off I assumed), do I need to have the relay?

Shouldn't, The relay is only there to turn the converter on and off with the key but still gets power from the battery.

Love the set up definitely going to go this route but my only question is does the Bluetooth amp have a enough power to also run a tube subwoofer such as the kicker tube sub woofer?

The amp used was only 2 channel. Even if it was 4 channel I dont think it has enough to run the kicker tube.

Im a newb but wouldnt running a wire from the reducer to the key switch be the same as doing the reducer to relay to key switch?

No, The key switch wire wont produce the amperage that the relay uses throught the battery. The key switch wire just turns the relay on and off.

Thanks for the informative video! I’m about to order and install this setup. However, I have a gas cart. I know I can forego the converter, do I need to just use a 12 V relay?

The relay was only used to turn the converter on and off. If you only want your accessories to be powered on when the cart is on a 12v relay would work just fine.

What differences would you do in this setup for 12V gas carts? probably a different relay?

I wouldnt add the dc converter and a 12v relay.

do you know if there is an external volume control know that can be attached to this amp. i dont want a head unit but just want a knob to control volume so i dont have to adjust it with my phone. hopefully that makes sense. thanks

Same here. How do I know which battery’s are the main + and main-? I have everything hooked up just like the diagram and cannot get the amp to power on. Any help would be appreciated.
