Very Loud!!!! I recently bought a Trek Top Fuel that came with this multitool insert. It was very noisy. The front of my bike rattled the entire time for three hours. I didn’t know there was a multitool in the headset.

I got this tool together with my Trek bike, and some of my experiences from using this a few times(had it for half a year) 1 - the indent that snaps the tool into place to stop it from flying out gets worn relatively quickly. after 6 months of ownership, there's barely any resistance when i slot the tool into the stem. 2 - it's not water tight and moisture does seep in and i now have a tool with corrosion or oxidation, not sure exactly, i know it's stainless so it's not rust atleast. 3 - the worst part - is that it's too small to do one of the bolts of the breaks. I have shimano saints on the bike, but also sram code, and same for both. 4 - the little semi sircle bit that you use to pull the tool out starts to rattle overtime. oh and the tool needs another tool to tighten it every once in a while otherwise it starts to rattle aswell some positives - 1- the chain breaker is very strong. no problems and we fixed 3 chains on the side of the road so far. 2 - it's incredibly sleek, best out there as far as integration 3 - it's really sturdy and made from great materials, i never felt like it would snap. even when tightening crank arms.

@@luizronaldodearaujo915 It literally took more effort to write this comment than it would to install this tool on a bike...

You could say the same thing about a lot of innovations in mountain biking like suspension forks, dropper seat posts, tubeless tires, and 1x drive trains, but I don't know too many people who would be happy to go back to "the way it used to be".
