32:16 if you place the vehicle.meta file in OpenIV and it does this vehic~.MET file or something, right click on the original vehicles.meta file, press replace, and go to the LODS folder and do it that way

Id like to make a FPS increase note, i found on accident while installing this. If you go into the resourceadjuster file, it says to set the mb to whatever your gpu vram is, by default it was set to 1900mb, my card (6700 xt w/ 12gb vram) was running the game with a ton of mods at a decent 50 ish fps, with nve installed @ 1440p, and the game went over 8gb of vram usage a couple of times, but i changed the number in the adjuster file, to 12000mb, to match my gpu, and now the game is using 9.5 gb of vram, and it runs alot smoother, and im at 60 - 70 fps. Not sure if i changed it correctly, but figured if it helped me maybe it can help others. Im not sure why the default is 1900, I know not everyone has a montser pc, but 2gb of vram? does that even exist?
@@BlueLineVibes Interesting haha and yes this is why i found it curious as to why the file is set to 1900mb default, the instructions in it arent exactly clear to me, it says, ; Additional GPU memory to make available in MiB, ensure this falls inline with your system's specs/usage. additionalGPUMemory=1900 . Idk if they mean set it to your gpu's max vram, or just close to it?

Hey Collin, if you go to "Collection" on the tab on Patreon, it will be at the very bottom as it was around video number 1 or 2 on Patreon. It's pretty common for people to not watch the entire video and to scrub through a timestamped video. But here ya go, more info here 11:17 shows pulling files from zip/rar files, 13:06 easy to miss what I am saying, with the folder on the desktop, you can "usually" pull files easier into OpenIV. If you still get the red circle with the line through it, click into OpenIV - anywhere you see a white blank area, it doesn't matter, you just want to reactivate OpenIV window. Now pull into OpenIV with edit mode on.

I tried renaming my north Yankton cop cars but am not sure what they are supposed to be named, is it possible to leave a list of the names you can use for renamed police cars please ? Or is there a video somewhere that has this

So if I put the file that says”lower increased invisible modded cars wheels from distance loss fix+no more tinted police emergency lights ” then it shouldn’t mess up my car graphics right? Thanks for your help btw. And thanks for responding. Really appreciate it.
i need help with something after i installed all the mods it says failed to start try reinstalling lspdfr or try again later is there a fix other than reinstalling lspdfr?
Try checking your "SCROLL LOCK" button at the top of the keyboard, usually found at the top above Page Up key or something around there. Make sure that is off. If that is not the issue, come by our discord for more help
Even after doing everything humanly possible my ELS is still broken. Files correctly put. Names correctly put. Only some lights stay open and just that. It's like ELS doesn't even start.
Did ELS work for other vehicles before this pack? If this is your first time using ELS, could be the ELS is not installed properly, OR it may have something to do with the car pack as the author manipulated some files. Try posting on his download section

it also doenst work on other packs, probably something about the ELS but... idk whats wrong with it, i uninstalled and re installed ELS few times by now.
I am unable to rename, or move the sheriff vehicles to Open IV, using the same process as shown. The police vehicles were added correctly but I am having issues with the sheriff ones. Edit mode is on and the file is on my desktop just like the police vehicles
11:18 Drag folder out of Zip/Rar file onto desktop. Make sure edit mode is on. Drag to OpenIV, IF THAT DOES NOT WORK, Click anywhere inside OpenIV (in the white area to activate window) NOW drag the files into OpenIV. If that doesn't work, come by our discord.
I tried it with Resource Adjuster. But i got a message every time on start "out of game memory". So i went back to Heap Adjuster and now it works fine.
Correct, reason I did not include it here is because these are replacement vehicles. Usually no need for Heap Adjusters unless you have other DLCs installed
So I’m new to this and confuse but what’s the difference between police, police2, police3, sheriff etc etc, are those for different departments like highway, Los santos etc etc. Is sheriff just for the palito bay?
Those are what as referred to as (Law Enforcement Car Slots) that are available naturally in the game by Rockstar Games. Also, yes you can consider them different divisions.

The only thing I didn’t download was the handing id but besides that everything else I did ..step by step can you maybe help out it will be appreciated👊🏻!
New video out today at 12pm CST. It is an Addon DLC, but the second half of the video is a replacement. Maybe follow that part of the video and see if it helps. Could be a small step missed perhaps. If that doesn't work, you should visit out discord as people need to see your files on there.

Hey man idk if youll see this but i downloaded every mod from your top 5 plugins and all from this vid, at first it started up but as soon as i went on duty rage crashed now it crashes as soon as i load in. some cars are working others i am sticking out the roof but lights look good. any help where i went wrong would be great i spent hours on this now lol

Hey Benzo, I'm new to modding GTA and I've been watching a lot of your videos to get through. For some reason when I click on the Higher And Lower Increased LOD Draw Distance Mod it says the author removed the mod. Is there any alternative to this ?
mb, we are all good, i just have one question, i downloaded the better radiance mod and when i go into it, it only shows (recommended) or BETTER RADIANCE. i didnt get any of the oter 2 you had and the radiance you had wasnt named BETTER RADIANCE v3. what do i do
I think I am confused by your question. Script Hook is covered in this video, I show myself dragging it into the main game directory. Better Radiance was renamed to Better Radiance Final - This was renamed AFTER This video was produced. So I am not understanding your question, as authors will sometimes rename things. I provided the link as well.
Hello, I just installed the els but I have a problem with the sirens, I press the "1,2 and 3" but no siren sounds, it may be because I don't have any siren installed, only the ones in the game?

The LOD type file is a meta, no reason to edit those unless you are changing handling ID, or audio hases. Just replace your other vehicle meta file with edit mode on, game closed, everything installs perfectly fine. Been doing this for stuff for over 8 years now.

25:40 any of desc links does not lead to any file named better radiance V3 there is only better radiance and it is missing files from better radiance V3 and i dont know what to do now EDIT: i launched a game and have a problem you said about in video: my emergency lights ale static no any flashing can you send link to google drive with this right file so it works? I can't find anywhere this better radiance V3 on internet
That is the correct version of better radiance. They just called it something different now as a Final version. Better Radiance only controls the brightness of the ELS, it doesn't control the flashing or anything like that. If you are having issues with the lights themselves, you need to make sure you have installed the new AdvancedHook.dll for ELS due to the GTA update. That is found in the download of ELS. Then you need to make sure your ELS xml file is in the correct folder (pack_default) and named properly for the right vehicle. Also double check that your ASI Managers are installed correctly under Tools menu (tope of OpenIV)

Last time I added ressources adjuster and Heap limit adjuster, everything in the game was mixed up and many things were disabled or uninstalled. I don't know what happened. 😅
I am assuming that your graphics card has around 8 gigs of Vram? If so, Resource Adjuster should be fine. The Heapadjuster should be okay, unless you modified it in anyway. Same with Pack Limit Adjuster. Reason this is not covered on this video is that we are not dealing with DLCs, these are just replacement. But the Resource adjuster hasn't given me any issues.

@@icydice1812 No problem, I can remove the laser on the taser pretty easy with Stop The Ped setting, but not really sure about a laser dot showing unless I am missing something.
Amazing video But I need your help again so basically I was playing LSPDFR normally today and I closed the game off because I forgot to switch key binds for compute lite and I changed it and I downloaded some other mods and then I went to load GTA through rage and it starts to load and I says getting info from rockstar game and stuff that usually pops up and then once all that loads it just closes everything and it leaves me on my desktop screen and the game doesn't load I restarted the game so many times still the same outcome and then I clicked somewhere and I think it said something like rage cant access steam folder or something like that but yea it loads and the game closes down and I am left on my desktop if you can or anybody please help thank you in advance

Sorry to hear that. Try this, make sure you have pulled the folder from WinRar or Zip file to desktop first. Click iNSIDE the OpenIV program first (anywhere works) then drag with edit mode on.
That is a bit odd, shouldn't be doing that. Have you tried to just spawn it via Rage Console? Like below F4 for Rage Console: spawn police spawn police2 spawn police3 spawn sheriff spawn sheriff2 for example

@@BlueLineVibes Update: So it seems I was just jank with renaming things as you mentioned. Instead of naming something I want for HP "police4", I renamed it "highway". So vehicles seem to be working fine now. My only other issue is ELS not properly working due to ELS.asi file reaching an error on gta5 startup

I think the author did change some things in the pack. So it is possible. Either that or he may have updated his pack and put it up on the site under a different link?
Ahhh, I had that happen before. First, look at your vehicle install location. Chances are you have a +hi file that needs to be removed. More than likely it is feeding off another vehicle that is for example (police+hi.ytd) click on the ytd and look at the pics and see if it is your vehicle. Chances are it is based off another vehicle. Don't mess with the ytf files as they are meant to have a +hi. Also, make sure you are using the vehicle.meta file supplied on this video, if you are using another meta file, it can make the vehicles look janky. Other than that, it could be the carcols if you installed any of those. I didn't go over that in the video as it gets more complicated. Check the ytd files first. Then on another note: GTA just updated, need to wait for things to update since you probably can't launch the game with your mods folder .....
@@OscityEx openiv version has nothing to with GTA game versions. You can use an outdated OpenIV and it still works. But as mentioned above, I already answered the question lol
@@BlueLineVibes I am having a similar problem. The police2 slot is assigned to spawn a Tahoe. When I spawn the vehicle into the game, a cruiser type vehicle spawns. Then when I walk away from it, the vehicle looks like a Tahoe. If I walk closer to the vehicle it’s the old cruiser again. Any thoughts ?
