Nice - what happens to the map display that works with the original system on the small screen among the dials and instruments behind the steering wheel?
Can you provide a link to customer feedback after installation and use? My vehicle is a 2013 911 (PCM 3.1). Comment seem to suggest use of OEM mic may be hit or miss. Please explain.
Aux. However, we did customise the software to allow for a double bluetooth connection with your iPhone meaning you can use Carplay and OEM PCM Bluetooth at the same time retaining 1:1 oem quality for audio and microphone during calls.
Both we and andream use sunplus boards. Sunplus comes with a ‘base software’ up on which you are free to make adjustments. We did a lot to improve stability and responsiveness. We don’t know the changes andream made but considering there price we think they didn’t do any. @@dandym8 original one is still present. Only when activating the carplay system before it has been fully booted, you”ll see another logo - the logo of the carplay board. In practice this means you’ll never see it.
@@JayAOnline Yes but you can also set it up so your phone connects to carplay and oem pcm, it will then use the oem mic during calls and also allows for oem bluetooth playback ensuring high quality.
@@billybish833It has a usb in. So maybe through there. Otherwise I don’t know. We don’t offer it as LTE/Data coverage is superior to DAB and listening to radio through an app has endless possibilities (i.e listening to a Dutch radio station while being in UK)and it nearly doesn’t cost any data. Original factory dab can be retained if thats what you mean ;).
