How to install comma 3 on 2022 bolt euv premier 

Right lol and fyi gm can’t do regular street roads is completely limited. It isn’t the Cadillac super cruise. They have the bolt the old 1st gen half ass super cruise from years ago lol. I’d put the comma 3 against any driver system and it’ll poop all over them 😂 they didn’t rank number one no reason

There is a little tab that sits behind the white tab that presses down

@@jjdm-rz8ek I was so frustrated that I didn’t care, even if it breaks and used plier tool and it worked

Behind that white tab there’s a black flap to press down as you wiggle it out of the socket

Frank were you able to get the cable plug out? I’m having the same problem

If anyone sees this, look carefully at the silver camera box at 3:10, and how it's mounted onto the windshield; it can slide in and out from those mounts, and it's being held in with a clip right above the connector, against the windshield. (you can see them as black clips with grey borders at 3:13) If you push on the clip holding it in, you can slide the entire camera box out, and be able to get at the plug from a much better angle. Once I figured that out, the plug came out easily with an eyeglass flathead screwdriver.

Yeah just need the harness the rest comes with the comma

I bought it from China. Cable and the box and shipping cost $68. It arrived in about 2 weeks.

So glad I'm not the only one that struggled with this I was trying plastic curved pieces my fingers nothing was working! Finally found two of the smallest flat heads I had laying around one on each side of the pull tab and pulled on both sides at once popped right out. Then I used the smaller of the two to push down on the separate black tab and wiggled the harness to get it out.

worth the cost? are folks getting this because supercruise sucks for GM?

I just tried this on a C3X and it indeed worked. Whether it's enough always, I don't know. But it sure powered up and seemed normal.

Shouldn’t take long at all depends on the internet connection. But you should be able to see the progress bar.

I see the issue now use the link in description erase the no autohold it’s fixed to not work with the bolt anymore so no just use installer.comma.ai/twilsonco/sunny-test-c3

You have to pull that little white tab forward and then there’s a little clip that you press down and pull it out. The white one blocks it so it has to be pulled forward I used a tiny screw driver

Almost all lol stick install is driving only no options. Sunnny pilot is full of features and setting toggles and more. No comparison not even slightly lol

When you turn off car it updates itself or you can click update button only happens when car is off

They just added blind spot detection so yes and it uses commas cameras to do the steering but uses cars for acc control

@@DarkCloudVapors i use android auto with my bolt. can comma openpilot work with nagivation (google map / waze) to auto drive? i hope i can handle the local drive but openpilot can handle the highway drive such as get off exist and go to connector to another route.

Yes, it will work with an EV 2LT with Adaptive Cruise Control. It should also work on a 2LT with out Adaptive cruise Control if you also buy a “Comma Pedal”. I just bought a pedal from an Etsy seller and a comma 3 to install on my EV 2LT without ACC.

@@derekude8548 Did you try using the Fork from OPGM before you purchased the comma pedal? I understood the version would work without the pedal do to no ACC. Interested in your experience to help me. My Comma is in the being shipped :)

Not sure I never used or looked up the peddle. Mine was a premier and didn’t need it and these 2 rentals I got last week both ev and euv base 1LT they both worked just fine but you control the gas and braking. With premier it will work but without then yeah you’ll need peddle or just drive and let it do the steering

No I just use mads and it’s just fine. 9/10 times even when I had adaptive cruise I never set it unless on interstate. Other then that really mads was the go to just to drive and let it do all the steering.

@@DJ-jq7nc unfortunately it’s kinda just try some stuff out and see how it goes. Nobody really helps in the discord community. They just tell you to know it or go away basically lol. I hate discord after buying this comma 3. The people there are just toxic and won’t make you feel good or like they care or want to help be warned. Sunny is very closed and won’t help if you don’t already know stuff. So :( only complaint I have is the closed off open community
