I don’t know why people are complaining. When you google this question all you can find is can How far up the wall to put the hooks (1/3 up) but no one tells you how to actually put the hooks in or where. I love this lady, like having my grandmother here to show me how to do things properly.
This lady doesn't give you a rule of thumb for placement height of tie-back on curtain (halfway, two thirds?). Then, unless you have cement walls, you don't need a masonry bit or hammer drill to penetrate drywall and wood, a regular bit will do. I'm sure these folks could do better on the content of this video.
She's English. And English houses tend to be made of brick - so one imagines she has no idea that the Americans didn't learn from the Big Bad Wolf and continue to make their homes from wood. :p
I have 4 windows 14 1/2"D, my curtains are inside like those but i wanted the curtain holdbacks (?) that are just metal that hold back the curtains so no this wasn't helpful to me either.
