Thank you so freaking much ! I just installed it and everything works perfectly, I don't know a lot of building pcs but your tutorial was simple and direct (it took me like 3 hours bc i was afraid of breaking or ruining something 😅 but it's all good!) , thank you again for this :)
You sir are my savior. This is my first time building a pc. I went with the fractal north case so i wanted an air cooler to make a nice aesthetic, ended up buying this one. Hopefully it keeps my cpu temps low. I'm using the 7800x3d and the 4090 founders edition!
As a person who's been building PC's for the better part of 10 years, this is a really well-done video. I'm actually installing this cooler on my updated build this weekend, first time doing air compared to an AIO. I'm thinking of using my Lian-Li Infinity fans instead of these, what's your thoughts?
Thank you very much 🙏 I really appreciate that! I think the infinity fans would look stunning in this. Maybe not in the center since that’s covered up but what if you did 2 infinity fans (one on each side) and then keep the stock fan in the center. Maybe too many fans but might look cool 😅
The paste that came with this I wouldn’t have any issues using imo but it never hurts to get something that’s been proven to be good. I always replace thermal paste at least once a year so I’d probably use this for first year and then upgrade.
Nice guide. I just bought the same cooler and it´ll be arriving next week. One question: you actually have CPU_FAN + CPU_OPT conectors in your motherboard, why you just connect both fans directly instead of using an splitter adding more cables to the build?
Good stuff, just be cautious with the direction you mount the fans, my motherboard has a bulky io cover that prevented the CPU fan from being mounted in a certain orientation and I had to flip it.
Friend, what should I do with another one? there is another plug there, which is covered with a case, and there are 3 more pins, what are they for? I've reviewed it 10 times, connected it properly, but still there is one with the case closed, it is not used
Hi, I was curious if you ever tried connecting the cooler's ARGB panel to the CH560's included ARGB controller? I have the same case and cooler and notice that some of the LED's on the cooler's panel will not light up when connected to the controller in CH560 Digital. Deepcool sent me a replacement panel, but the same thing happens. If you haven't done this, could you do me a favour and test it and see if all LED's light up for you? Thx in advance.
Awesome.....I purchased the black one same model one week ago and temperatures were too high so I took it off and ordered an AIO from Deoop Coo...installed it and again high temps. when palying games it stays in 86C. Disappointed in Deep Cool.
Check to make sure you’re using the correct bracket for your motherboard and cooler. Also make sure the brackets are installed in the correct orientation. What motherboard (or cpu) do you have?
Received mine a few days ago, thought it worked good until I noticed that anything I tried to open, Chrome, Steam, Battle net client etc, they took forever to open. I turned off the Deepcool software and everything was back normal. Now I just use it as Cpu cooler with no digital display
Yeah the cooler is too big for vertical gpu. Maybe with one of those mounts that allows it to sit at an angle but even then I don’t think it would fit. Thank you 🙏
@@BuildsWithV cooler fit with corsair rgb pro ls on coolermaster TD 500 mesh. thanks man the cooler is chill more than aio watercooling. my cooler was permafrost 240 from silverstone for about 4 years
@@elgatoslayer1332, I have that same Ram kit and didn't need to adjust the fan height, as it remains flush with the top of the cooler. That said, I'm thinking of trying the fan on the rear of the cooler, as mentioned in the video, so the RGB on the Ram is on full display...
I've been thinking of the same thing, also because my RAMs are pretty tall. If I'm not wrong, unless you don't change the direction of the fans, you should be good. Actually he mentioned that at 7:50.
@@Unknown-qr7mj ah alright, I’ve bought the AK620, but since I’m still waiting for the ram to come(corsair vengeance rgb DDR5,which are pretty tall), I had this doubt until now
@@seanchina9902well, at the end I got the non-rgb ones, cause of some problems during the delivery, and I would tell you that it fits perfectly. So probably the rgb version would cause some problems, so you will probably have to move your fans location or either, put the fan,the one above the ram, a little bit higher
Eh it’s not so bad. It happened to me a few times and only once I bent 2 pins which I was able to carefully straighten out and worked perfectly. It is scary tho! 😂😅
This is probably the worst comment ive ever read on RU-vid. No chance this could just be a spare PC he had to show how to install the cooler? Is he supposed to have a new PC for each part he does an install video of?
@@0thers1d3 This is probably the worst reply I've ever read on RU-vid. It's just a question, and one not aimed at yourself. Why not let the person that was asked answer it ?. If any of your speculative sarcastic answers held merit, I am sure they would be answered by the person who made the video / content that was asked. Maybe try not to be insulted for someone else, maybe let them type for themselves. The comment was made a month ago, hasn't been answered yet, obviously they aren't hurt by it, or do creators just highlight comments cause it brings unwarranted drama which everyone knows brings traffic / views 🤔🤨🤷🏻♂️. @@IrnMaiden304 probably the worst reply to a reply that I've ever read. Responded to the reply within a day and posted a lengthy response; clearly personally offended.
@@jeksewnoleeray1020 But you notice something !?, did this person reply back ?, was I wrong about it ?. Some of it was being a smartass though, some was making a point, a little personal, perhaps.
Its a design pattern somehow u managed to not recognize. Its supposed to match the case. However im thinking about using the CK560 instead of this case cus this one on the video looks like a cheese grater. The cooler in the PC is the only air cooler with a screen on the market btw. It looks rly good imo
@@BuildsWithV i already bought mine and install however no D_led on my mother board and ill try to buy 3 pin 5v on the extension. what are the consequence using on it?
