Hi dhaval, thanks for the question. This is an ASME welder and welding method shown in the video. Wire and welding methods/instruments are covered under ASME weld procedures. This particular project is for demonstration purposes. It is critical that the person performing the procedure must be an ASME welder as well. Hi Jean-Philippe, thank you for the question. We form the pie pieces in a dishing press to match the dish radius of the head they will be fitted up to. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Usually they make a big flat disc, then stamp the heads using large head forming equipment. That is why heads are usually provided in standard sizes.
