Thank you for this video. I just purchased a Q4 for my son's CRF150r and wondered if there was much to it, it looks like an easy install. One question, did the plastics fit well around the pipe? Did you add any extra heat shielding?
Yes I do, I keep the old exhaust because when I sell the bike I strip off the aftermarket parts, like the muffler and header mainly and sell them on ebay/marketplace.
Would you happen to still have the reducer sleeve the q4 comes with? I bought a used q4 and it did not come with a sleeve. I would buy it from you if you would sell it. Thanks
I dont ride this bike any more, I believe that you can have the fmf header and the stock muffler, but you need a spacer that comes with the fmf muffler if you want to have the muffler and header. I hope this helped
for the crf150r the bike will run relatively the same because the stock muffler and the fmf are open free flowing mufflers. On a crf150f the stock muffler is restrictive and if you put a free flowing exhaust on the bike it will be a bit lean, but for just trail riding it is just fine but for more high performance bikes like a 250x you would most likely want to re-jet the carb or just make it richer
There is a torque for each bolt on the bike.some are more than others if you meant the muffler band bolt I unscrewed it all the way and did not use a ratchet
