How to Install Gator Recoil Tonneau Cover on a 2019 Chevy GMC 1500 

I've had mine for about 8 months and it is TRASH. Needs to be adjusted all the time, it keep water out like at all....and the end caps have cracked already. It was installed per the instructions. BUYER BEWARE DON'T BUY

My driver side end cap broken and fell off while I’m driving. I can’t find another part for replacement. So unhappy about replacement parts to buy.

I've had one of these for a couple of years now; still happy enough with the purchase. But beware, they flap up and down on the highway from the wind and make noise. No problem if the windows are up, but with them open I have to crank the radio to drown it out.

So my cover came up short about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. My instructions didn't say pull the tracks back to the tailgate using the 1/4 spacer. So is it safe to say that in the beginning of the video he placed the canister flush against the bed but then he pulls it to the tailgate so.... in the end it's not flush with the bed of the truck near the cab?

Does someone actually answer these questions? I just installed one and it is super hard to open. I'm 5'9'' and it's hard to reach to slide it open and it's almost impossible to open one handed.

Is that stripping added to the back of the bed?

Hi, had a question I have this cover but it recently stop close halfway. It slides open it doesn’t latch no more is there anyway to fix it ?

We installed the gator retractable cover on a 2018 Chevy Silverado 4 door with 6-6 bed and the latches for the cover does not allow the rails to open wide enough at the rear of the bed. We ended up taking the latches off in the center and at the tail gate. I think we got the wrong cover but everything said it was correct.

I’ve had one for about a year and I wish I got a folding cover instead

Does the Recoil have Sealed Ball Bearings??

Is this a soft cover? I wanted a hard one
