How To Install Hand Grips on 2020 Harley-Davidson Softail. 

Thank you guys! This was extremely helpful.. Had my laptop playing as I installed the same Nostalgic Grips on my 2021 Softail Slim. Much easier job watching step by step. And I even looked at myself in the mirror LOL

Beautiful machine . My dad and I went to the dealership for a part and I'll say I seen the military edition and man it's not my style of a Harley but I kept looking at it's beauty . Not fast but a damn good looking machine that'll do the distance . I used to think it's crotch rockets or nothing . That changed on it's own . I still have a rocket but them Harley's are the biggest part of bikes for me . I grew up around shovelheads so that's something that stayed with me as I got older . Harley is its own leader in it's class and I think it's lame how these guys on rockets compare them bikes to Harley's . Nah nah nah . Damn Harley should have kept the vrod ... They had something there , Harley had another class of a real muscle bike and they ditched it .

Question??? If you check the channel. My cluch side grip doesn't have slots. I have a 2020 softail slim. I got these grips from Harley. Also what do the green dots mean the instructions don't say... You all make it look easy. I just need to know if the process is the same..

Easy job. This was the first mod for me.

Might be a good Idea to add some Teflon lubrication to the right handlebar before placing the new grip on.

Cover the tank and fender first !!!

James, on left side of replacing a new grip, does it needs to be glued? I did not see that on video

Is the installation process similar for Heated Grips?

Some techs use Hairspray on the tube as it initially slides then becomes Sticky..
