When i do this, the hyper v is installed, but after the reboot, it get stuck on boot (windows logo) Any idea?, when i unchek the intel vt from vmware, the server is booting, but VMs on hyper created on hyperv aren't started (No hyper v is running error message)
I'd suggest reinstalling it from scratch if you can't get past the windows logo after enabling nested virtualization (if you haven't already tried, of course)
Hello ravencraft, Thank you for your answer, I've already tried reinstalling the OS ..but unfortunatly the problem persist (i tried with both win2016 and win2012 vms) I'm working on a home lab, i created a win2016 vm on vmware workstation, and i want to install hyper v on it...before, installing the hyper v role i enabled intel VT ,after that i installed hyper v, everything went smooth, but when rebooting, i get stuck on boot.. I still can't find the root cause :/
@@bitfragment Yes, i added the cpuid line on the vmx file so that the VM will act as a physical host...but still nothing, the VM seems to crash at boot...but the weird thing, is when i disable the intel vt, the VM boot normally..
