In this video I am going to show you How to install Java JDK 13 on Windows 10 ( with JAVA_HOME ). Java installer .msi file comes with JRE and JDK. Java JDK Installation for Microsoft Windows (64-bit). JDK stands for Java SE Development Kit. JRE stands for Java Runtime Environment.
1. Download Java
Open your web browser
Type URL: www.oracle.com... to go to Oracle download page. This will lead you JAVA JDK download page
Click on button “ JDK download ” for Java SE update 4.
Accept oracle license agreement
Find and click on the correct jdk download link right for your operating system to download
Save the file to disk
2. Install Java
Double click to run the download file
Just follow the prompt in Installer window

If it isn't downloading, you can press the lock button on the top next to the URL and edit the settings to allow insecure content and allow automatic downloads. It wasn't downloading at first for me so I did that and it worked.

3:25 - JDK downloads for me but it won’t actually install. when i click “yes” the window just disappears and it says it’s installing but i don’t see it installing :(

Demmy chan hey i finally managed to fix the issue & i was able to successfully install JDK. what i did is go to settings>update & security>recovery> & then i clicked “get started” under “go back to previous version of windows 10” since the windows 10, version 2004 was causing my issue. i hope this helps! :D

Hi, actually I installed in the folder "Programs File" and prompt said... Was not able to find the Java folder in "Programs Data" folder... So I jus copied the Java folder to the "Programs Data" folder.. now everything is fine.

@@sainiranjan40 It asked me to create an account too. Right after I clicked to download. It wants email address, name, phone number, address etc....all required fields. Yuk. I gave it a fake name. Had to give real email so it could verify to allow the download. Data harvesters...!!!

Previously I was following the own Visual Studio wizard on how to install the JDK and it made me download an Eclipse tool that downloaded a JDK... so, I uninstalled that because the IDE was not recognizing anything, but when I uninstalled the Eclipse tool that was installed it supposedly uninstalled the JDK,... but the path is still there in the variables. should I erase it???? Also I am afraid to even open Android Studio now, because last time I installed a secondary source of JDK, my projects automatically synced with those and it spawned 2 Gradles and made builds super slow... why is this so complicated...

select that you are a student, also if you have your university email (ex singimail.rs) try making account with that email. in my case it autodetected that i am student.

The page you are selecting the operating system, click on the 'lock looking like' option to the right side of manual reload of the web page, click on site setting, scroll down and allow 'automatic download' and 'insecure content', close the site settings tab and reload the download link page, try once again and it will work
