Yes you can restart jenkins instance via cmd. Press control c in cmd and then execute same cmd which we used to install jenkins.

Install jdk version 8 or 11 and then set path in environmental variables in user section remove previous path and add to java jdk bin path.... And then run again cmd as java -version And then see it will work for sure

Hi Katakam, there are two ways one is using cmd so once you close cmd then you wont be able to access. Second way to install as service which will start once you reboot your system everytime.

Hi Mate, you can execute war again and it will start jenkins server. Once you see jenkins up and running then access using ip and port. Note- Dont worry no need to setup everything again.

Yes Sumedh, in my next tutorials I have also explained that if you dont want to run war everytime then you can use as a service. Note- In realtime we install jenkins on server so you dont to close everytime.

@@vaishnavijha5807 strange 🤔 did you get the jenkins dashboard after all steps. If yes then try username n password again. Option 1 - We can disable authentication so it will never ask for credentials Option 2- Delete jenkins directory and install jenkins from scratch and this time give some simple username n password.

Hi Michael, for me it takes 5-10 min but if it stuck in between then press CTRL + C in cmd or resume the process.

Try opening jenkins url and if it is not loading then execute war file again as I mentioned in the video and it will start the Jenkins instance.
