I did this and use the reel for fluking, lots of fun...easy to set the hook and very light weight.

I am buying a new reel and have more or less decided on a Sustain FI 3000. I'm interested in these knobs, but there doesn't seem to be guides for this particular reel. Do you think I can use your knobs without drilling? Can't really open the handle at the shop to see whats going on :)

i wanted to buy this but the price is a rip off... 50$? its insane, i can get a high quality gomexus knob for less then 20$

*The reel looks very nice. **allabout.wiki/01fs** But compared to the same model I tested at Dick's, it is not that smooth. I guess this reel needs some run-in period.*
