u can use this red switch in series of ingition switch wire.

Jhampa66 ..sir if U use my methord,then there is no need to open ignition coil box and the engine will not crank in case the switch is off... u may need double pole single thorugh switch also called DP switch but it depends upon the wires behind ignition switch.

Jhampa66 ...sir as pee my knowledge if u install this switch as pre this video (your methord) it may shot circut the wiring. because if key is in switch on position then engine wire disconnected means broken circuit but similarly battery started working and self became active.

Jhampa66 Okay let me explain. Cut 2 wires from head light (Ground or neutral and high or low beam) and join those together what will happen? A blown fuse. whenever we pass current without enough load it causes a short circuit. That is what you will be doing it you kill the engine from the switch,to solve this you need to add a switch only in positive wire (1 way switch or 2 wire switch) and leave the negative as it is.
