Just watched your video for the third time and I'm pretty confident that I can do the install. Can barely wait 'til my stuff from MoonsMC gets here. Also ordered the lay down license plate bracket. Hate to be such a copycat but the rear of your bike looks so good that I couldn't help myself.

I have one also....super bright but sometimes a bit confusing for drivers behind you....when brake and signal lights are on...it's a lot going on in a small space so keep and eye on drivers behind you....make sure they know your intentions to turn. :)

I installed the Moons tail light on my FXLRS last season. I also put the Moons black bezel on it so the whole thing is black. Love the look of it. It doesn't stick out like the stock tail light. Guerrilla Cables makes an extension cable that makes the install a lot easier.

I got the cable from Moons but I know Guerrilla has a good one too! Do you have a 2020? I was under the impression the bezel doesn't fit the newer years?

Really slick upgrade. Very smooth. See you have the classic Harbor Freight Lift. I put a hand ratcheting Harbor Freight winch on the front of mine. My wife cranks me (the bike) right up on. (when bike won't run). Good vid., admire your wrenching skills.

I got pulled over year ago here in SoCal for having intergrated tailight.... I definitely need to go back to this set up bc of leatherpro bags. Sometime it sucks riding in California especially around where I live....

I put in an integrated turnsignal on my Yamaha FZ07 about three years ago and so far so good. I am in NorCal. I have found myself right in front of cops occasionally and no problems so far. Knock on wood. I actually tested my luck, I switched lanes legally with CHP approaching, left half of my taillight flashing. He followed behind for a short distance, then he moved to the left lane and took off. Does this validate that I'm ok with this setup? Not really, but I felt good about it.

That was most helpful.👍👋👋. I have an All in One Tail Light on my Softail but in the UK turn signals have to be a certain distance apart by law so now i have to try & undo 19yr old rusty nuts & bolts & re-route my cables. Wish me luck. 😅

Don't forget to buy the extension cable from Guerilla Cables. Makes the install that much easier. Moons also sell a black bezel if you don't like the stock chrome bezel.

Nope ! MoonsMc and Custom Dynamics base plates do NOT fit the 2018+ Softails. I tried my luck anyway ... and I regreted it.

Did u replace an LED tail light with another LED light, or did u replace a stock bulb light with an LED? And if so did u have to add a resistor or load equalizer to make it work?

Heather, I have been looking for a course on basic maintenance and common roadside repairs. I’ve asked AD Farrow HD if the offer anything-no. I have worked on cars and small engines, but never a motorcycle. It would be nice to be a little more “fluent” in troubleshooting and maintenance. Love your shop videos, thought maybe you could help or point me in the right direction.

I haven't run into any specific classes - but I do know that Fix My Hog has a ton of videos on maintenance and changing out parts - also at some events I often see people hold classes on basic maintenance so keep your eyes open for that (local group meetups, or bigger weekend events sometimes have people who do these). If I hear of anything else I will definitely post it!

I Have a 2021 lowrider s. I ordered the black tail light frame and the V3 and the electrical harness. The black frame doesn’t have the exact shape to go to the fender and the moons tail light doesn’t mold correctly to the stock chrome frame (since I couldn’t install the black) the two small black screws that secure the light won’t go in. It’s either the left one does or the right one does . It just seems the light doesn’t match the frame exactly and has created nothing but a headache for me. I’m contacting moon to see what’s up

Definitely contact them - they are really helpful! At the time of me making this, the black bezel did not fit the new Low Rider - just older models - that's why I didn't get it - but that could have changed! I'm sure they will be able to help you!

Nope! There are some tricks - turning it on and off with flashers etc. (Turn ign on, turn on hazards, ign off, hazards will do a different flash when ready, ign on, turn off hazards - or something to that effect anyway!)

@@jaytouvelle2359 Ahh, I don't think he does chrome. You don't NEED it - but I don't like leaving anything open like that. I believe you can get them on Revzilla or a site similar in Chrome.

Check out these teeny tiny rear signals I think I wanna get instead of those block offs. These will add more signal flash for the rear, hardly noticing there even there unless they're lit up and they're so small they may not interfere with your saddle bags. www.kuryakyn.com/products/6148/kuryakyn-by-kellermann-atto-collection
