Unfortunately, I am stuck at "fastboot flashing unlock FAILED (remote: 'check password failed!')". I've even tried factory / hard reset but could not pass this step. Huawei P20 lite. Note: As I learned from some forum, I need a Huawei unlock code which must be provided by Huawei and they don't supply anymore :(
Just installed it on my Oneplus 6 , I thought my phone would die slowly because of a lack of updates from oneplus but that OS is just great ! And that made me remember my computer lessons years ago when I got to the command prompt lines ;) So far great experience , Thanks Ksk Royal , very good job !!!
I know the video is old, but could u prepare a video for tecno spark 10c. And anyone with the similar device and have solved the issues, please reply to this comment and help me. Thanks:)
BRILLIANT!!!The tutorial was well-explained and easy to follow. 👍 LineageOS does not have the Galaxy J7 Top SM-J737U package. Is there a way to install Android 11 or higher on the SM-J737U?
I was going to try to install Lineageos through the Moto G10 TWRP but XDA TWRP is 32 bits and doesn't have 64 bits and appears error 255, do you have any tips on how to find 64 bits TWRP for the Moto G10?
since you can't ROOT lineageOS in the usual way, I usually first install the original factory Android ROM using ODIN3 in windowd. AND then ROOT your phone with ODIN3. I tried rooting linageOS 17.1 without it working. Be prepared that all the bugs and errors you had are the same in lineageOS 20 and that only the android version is updated!!
Is lineage os better than stock miui 14 (Android 13) ? I tried a lot custom Roms but most of it have bugs and optimization problems like heating when the phone is on idle. Do you recommend installing lineage os in my redmi note 10s? Also I replaced my screen which as not original screen, is it causes display problems? For example when fingerprint lock is turned on, when I touch the sensor, screen turns on so rapid (fast) and touch not works until I lock and unlock screen. Also it happens when I calling someone, when I put phone in to my ear, screen turns off then when it turns on, touch not works. The question I want to ask, when you use fingerprint or call thing I mentioned, is the screen turns on so fast? I also want to ask is it crashing on apps? Thanks for the video ❤
Lineage OS is very fast it runs much better than MIUI 14. I personally prefer stock android. Also check out other roms such as Pixel Experience, Project Elixir (Allows more features & Next Level Customisation)
7-th try to install the custom rom, stil not working, as usual, i did every single step with care and slow movement and the abd and fastboot files are still not reconized..
Instal Google USB Driver from this link: developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb Once the download is complete, extract the zip file. Inside the extracted folder, find the file named _*android_winUSB*_. Right-click on it and select Install to set up the USB driver. Now, open the device manager, and you can see the computer has detected the Android device.
The video is just great with clear instructions. I have a ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2. Can you help me with unlocking the bootloader and recovery for this device as the OEM unlocking option is not available anymore. Also can you suggest a perfect custom ROM for this device.
I didn't see my tab on the least of phones on the lineage website is it possible to install in still? My tab refused to allow it self be rooted Would be nice to get help for this i really want to change the Operating OS of the Tab My Tab is Greatasia Z8
cannot find "android" under "other devices" in device manager. My phone is on the fastboot screen, connected by USB. So it seems i can't install the usb_driver. edit : i think i found it under a different name, but now i can't find the file when looking for the specific driver. I have the usb_driver file, but the driver itself won't show up through devices manager.
I want to install on my Galaxy A52 4G, I've never installed custom roms, but now I am compelled to do it as the phone is just quite laggy at times. I've come to know lineage os is the best option for me. I want to know if it safe and if there is any sort of issues with networking (WiFi and Cellular Connection). N.B: I am using a Samsung Galaxy A52 4G running on Andriod 14.
To my understanding some of the phones have custom id's for camera sensor. One id for full resolution capture, another id for pixel binned down to 12 Mpix, the last 12 Mpix is always default for 3'rd party camera apps. Not all phones allow easy access to full res capture even with custom OS. Are there any mid range fast ufs4 storage phones that allow access to full res raw for 3'rd party camera apps after the Lineage OS install?
@@kskroyaltech I know some older phones have unlocked full resolution camera when bootloader is unlocked and custom GCam mod installed. But the raw video app needs crazy fast internal storage, and or fast USB-C port (1000 MB/s would be nice). I have not found modern unlocked phone, but because manufacturers default camera app can shoot higher resolution than 3'rd party camera apps, i wonder if the 2 modes have been standardized enough, so by the installation of Lineage OS the link to accessing full resolution would be available? Or maybe the link to full resolution is encrypted by manufacturer. I would actually like to use HedgeCam, but all the nice 2023 smartphones are locked to 12 Mpix, if you are not willing to pay 1000-1500€.
Please i have faced a problem on my pixel 4xl and i need a solution thanks - After following all the lineageos website installation instructions my phone works perfectly after the first boot. - The problem comes in after the first boot if powers off/restart the phone it stuck on a boot loop. Even if i reinstall all the zip following lineageos guide it still occurs
Can i ask some question if you reset the phone the custom rom (lineage os) will reset too? Can i still call and text while using lineage os? Any problem u encounter while using lineage os?
Still don't understand i have tried many guides. Might as well be downloading a virus, there is no explanation to what it does or why with these millions of steps. They really want people to try it by making it so incredible annoying and tedious. I remember a time when you had one app or program doing the whole work.
I am on linux, not yet arch btw. The problem starts with the google usb driver it's for windows ain't it? I don't think I would be wise to just install it using wine. Would I! Please could you make a full walkthrough like this one for arch, Debian if I may.
Please make a video about how to install lineageos on devices like xiaomi redmi 9t, whose are not included in lineageos devices. Is there a general rom for devices like these
Hello. Did you know that Android 14 and later only has 64bit support? Which means that older tablets and mobile phones with 32-bit CPU processors cannot run Android 14 or later. On 32bit devices, there are many apps and games that you cannot use. so older 32bit devices will have problems in the future
@@kskroyaltech Laggy LineageOS and camera not working! LineageOS is like any other custom android rom with bugs that are NEVER fixed. Newer versions are coming out, but only the android version is new, but all the bugs that many people have reported are NEVER fixed! Laggy, camera not working! You can go from LineageOS 17.1 to 20 and experience exactly the same problems, bugs with LineageOS 20 that you experienced with LineaheOS 17.1 Those of you who make LineageOS, fix the problems and not just come out with a new android version!! I own a Samsung Galaxy TAB SM-P605 (LT03LTE) Where the camera no longer works and the tablet has become laggy after upgrading to LineaheOS. Another build with android 7, the camera works!
guys help me, i missed one step, it was to flash the super_empty.img on my redmi 7a. and i factory reseted the whole phone and its bricked, i cant create a new partition table and everytime i try installing lineageOS it just gives me errors please help
@@kskroyaltechMy device is Redmi anote 8 with updated version it became more laggy in the last update. So can I install this custom rom will my phone become a little bit smoother than the previous one? Please reply thank you
make sure fast-boot has recognized your device before running the command. Try to reconnect the device by replugging the uSB cable. then type *fastboot devices* you will see Device ID that indicates the fastboot recognition.
It depends on your banking app but mine no. So now I'm stuck with a new os with all my data and I'm not able to change my recovery mode to install magisk..
Bro is there an alternate samsung dex for any Android phone!!??? I tried the andronix and installed the Ubuntu but i kinda fail to do it! And also i don't think its gonna work. I'm searching for a true alternative to a desktop environment that only requires just a smartphone and monitor+KB+mouse connected by a usb c. Let me know if you know anything regarding this, if yes I think a video on the topic would be fabulous 🤩
Hello, i have a redmi note 10 pro that i bought recently and updated it to miui 14 and i notice it doesn't last like other phones i use, i have to charge almost 2 times per day, is lineage os good for battery life? What do you recommend for redmi note 10 pro? Thank you for answering ❤
I am following all instructions from your video and lineage os site but device is not showing in pc .all files are installed but device not found plz help me. I am using pixel 4a
I dont have a phone anymore... When i try to power on my phone it says "System is destroyed. Press power button to shutdown" And if i press shutdown and boot up again it just says it again... Please help me
you bricked your phone, something must have gone wrong, you cant do anything from that i believe, unfortunate but its the risk you have to take bro edit: u will need to unloack the bootloader and reinstall the sistem by using the raw rom. Go on google. I thinks theres a lot of xda thread dedicated for this kind of problem
I am sorry... In Linux all you need to setup android sdk tool.. That's it.. debian: sudo apt install android-sdk-platform-tools fedora: sudo dnf install android-tools Arch: sudo pacman -S android-tools and you are good to go. No need to have google usb installer. linux kernel supports direct contact with Android devices.
The official lineageos instructions are so complicated that they're not just understandable. Can I follow your video and install lineageos on my device without reading the official instructions? Or is there any specific thing in the instructions.
You must follow the instructions depending on your device. Procedure will be almost similar but there are some specific files that needs to be installed. So choose your device in lineageOS website and follow the instructions.
@kskroyaltech sorry for disturbing but i have a problem, actually i am trying to get lineageos on smsung tab a 8 2019 which is officialy supported in lineage os. i am facing problem in the fastboot device step. i tried updating driver but it still shows error. can you please make a video on this?
@@kskroyaltech uh yes after I researched a bit and followed XDA, it was a success but again, at the Final moment, the tablet got locked and it said this device is locked and so. I searched a bit on yt and had to restore it to stock os (one ui).
make sure you have typed the command correctly. see the generic command, deepening on your device following lineage OS instructions. fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img
