Thank you so much!!!. You solved my issue. Once I switched the SATA operation from RAID to AHCI, my 2TB got recognized and finished installing MacOS on my Dell laptop. Thanks again!!!
I followed the guide in the video, but the method did not work at first. When trying to boot from the USB installer, the computer would scroll several lines of code, then opencore would appear. After selecting the "install macOS Ventura" device, more lines of code would scroll, then all text would become garbled. The "flashing prohibited sign" would show up in the background. While messing with this, the SSD that was also in the system had a macOS High Sierra installation already present on it from a Mac Pro that I used previously. Note: This was a DosDude1 patched install of High Sierra for MacPro 3,1. I attempted to boot from the SSD, and to my amazement, it booted up and had very few issues. High Sierra is still quite an outdated OS, so I naturally wanted to upgrade to ventura. I made sure to complete the post install to the best of my ability with High Sierra, then when confirming the machine will reboot properly, I attempted to simply do a direct macos upgrade; using the (somewhat) official way. Normally, The Mac App Store would download only a minimal image, and you need an apple ID, annd many other conditions to be met, this was too annoying, so I decided not to do it. I instead decided to download macOS externally to avoid the Mac App Store, but did everything else the official way. I downloaded the Ventura OS file with Munki's "InstallInstallmacOS utility" this can be run with the folowing command (on a mac). mkdir -p ~/macOS-installer && cd ~/macOS-installer && curl raw.githubusercontent.com/munki/macadmin-scripts/main/installinstallmacos.py > installinstallmacos.py && sudo python installinstallmacos.py After using this tool to download macOS, I opened the file and proceede to upgrade macOS, keeping all the existing efi files from the video guide. The Ventura Install completed and was successful. I now have a (mostly) perfectly working hackintosh. Just thought I'd share if anyone was in a similar situation at all. My hardware: MBD: ASRock Z270 Gaming CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K RAM: 8GB 2133 MHz DDR4 GPU: XFX Radeon RX 580 8GB SSD: Inland SATA 480GB
just a note to anyone trying this since it isn't mentioned, if your CPU is 11th gen or higher, your iGPU won't work. All NVIDIA RTX cards don't work and most GTX cards only work up to High Sierra. If you have an intel 10th gen or lower CPU with an iGPU, you're fine. If you have an intel 11th gen+ and a compatible AMD GPU (Navi support is 6900XT and lower, Polaris (400/500) support is all except lexa core rx 550s (and xfx 560/460s)) then it will work. Intel 10th gen and lower and an RTX card will also work but you will have to use the iGPU on your CPU. Hackintosh has these weird stupid thingies but tldr No NVIDIA GPUs (in ventura, high sierra supports most GTX Cards and big sur supports kepler) No 7000 series AMD GPUs (6900XT and lower are fine except for lexa core 550s) No Intel 11th Gen+ iGPUs AMD iGPUs maybe (depends on gen) AMD CPUs yes but you have to apply patches before installation
In this case can i use the High Siera version instead and following the same procedure as in the video. My GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti, i3 10100, MB is MSI b460m VDH Pro Wifi
@@jean-danielkouassi8882 tbh this did not end up working. I later had issues and just bought a mac. You need to have a specific Intel CPU for this to work.
Daym thank you bro. Your video is not a scam and works. Step by step thank you so much (we’ll I had a issue with my Bluethooth mouse in the beginning but now it works fine
Hey Dude very Nice ans easy Tutorial ive Installed it on a HP Elitebook 850 G3 only Wifi not Works out of the Box so I use an USB Adapter and Everyting Works Fine but die the Future I buy a compatibal Wireless-Card 😅😉Great Job Thanks ❤
In case youre having the same problem i had, where it would reboot back to windows during the installation process because you chose to install it on a new partition of the same disk that you use for windows, heres how to fix it: 1. go to bios 2. set boot priority to the usb stick you used 3. save and exit 4. boot from the usb stick again and let it run. Here, it will reboot automatically multiple times and let you choose to run windows or install macos. You can just ignore this and do nothing, it will proceed automatically then it should work, at least it did for me
guys i wanted to add a important comment for does that dont have a powerful PC. i have an optiplex 7010 it runs an i-7 3770 with an normal amd hd radeon graphics the point it that the tutorial 100% works but, the is no deference with an virtual machine. for example if your pc dosnt have an wifi card built in and you are using D-LINK wifi adapter your mac would not connect to the internet. you need to use iphone hotspot via cable. anotherthing is that non of the apple services actually works and i dont now why. for example imassage wont work face time didnt work and etc. but i think if we actually use a older version of macos for example bigsur we might have an smoother work. hope this helped!
Incredible generosity, providing the OpenCore EFI for all processor types! This step alone prevented me from doing this on my own. I'll be sending in my gratitude to support your efforts.
@@matei9k It's also utter trash from Olarila. They're just loading up an EFI with as much stuff as they can think of, leads to an unstable system and if you need anything custom, they want you to pay them.
Hello everyone, I have an imac 12.1 mid 2011, I have tried several times to install Monterey or Sonoma using OpenCore Legacy, I followed all the steps as demonstrated in some tutorials, however, whenever it gets to the part to install the OS, it displays the message: This copy of the Monterey installation application is damaged and cannot be used to install macOS. I tried to change the date, without success, I tried to use the csrutil disable command and still nothing worked, could someone help me so I can do this update? Thank you very much.
fix how The system found unauthorized changes on the firmware, operating system or UEFI drivers. Press [N] to run the next boot device, or enter directly to BIOS Setup if there are no other boot devices installed. Go to BIOS Setup > Advanced > Boot and change the current boot device into other secured boot devices.
I have Samsung Ion 13" laptop with Comet Lake i5-10210u. I downloaded the EFI on your drive and replace it in the USB flash drive, But when I boot up the USB, it shuts down and restarts the PC while loading the bootloader. Do I need to modify the EFI config list? Also, I do not have the USB 2 port.. only USB 3 port the laptop has.
Thanks for this, it really worked. The problem I have is that everything seems really slow. I have an i5-4460 and installed it on a SSD. I guess it could be the Nvidia card I also have, because I don't think the problem is related to the ultra wide monitor. edit: when checking info it says "graphics display 7MB"
Problem with Desktop Haswell, laptop keyboard and mouse not working. When I accidently used Notebook Haswell, laptop keyboard and mouse was working, however did not let me install.
Please Ican not flash the raw image it flash but no files in the USB I tried to boot from the USB and I didn't find the Mac OS installer I found only Windows boot please help 😢
Hello Sir, firstly many thanks what you have done for us. Secondly, please help me. After two days followed what you did and repeat many times. i still see my screen " no such process" and " a lot of "error code". I really do not know what to do next. I am stucked here.
Thanks for the video! How do you install drivers? I'm on a Wi-Fi laptop and i want to make sure I'll have internet and the other needed drivers after the installation
Hi, the usb works and i boot into the menu for installing mac os, but the internet isnt working. There is no ethernet upstairs in my house so i use either my phone tethering or my wifi dongle. Neither work. Any suggestions?
I installed as per your instructions. Everything is working fine but efi partition is missing on hard drive. Now I need to use usb pen drive each time to boot it. What I can do now to create efi on hard-disk?

Hi. My setup is G4560 (kaby lake according to intel's website) with GTX1660 super. When I tried to boot from the flashdrive, I get blank black screen, no cursor or anything at all. Already on UEFI mode with secure boot disabled. What do you think I've missed?
the video is simple, but you only talk about the EFi for 5 minutes by referring to a link with very complex configurations. Most people will have incessant reboots after installation or will get stuck on error START/RECOVERY
These didn’t do anything. When I try to boot into Mac OS it’s blinking, my USB aren’t blinking and it boot back to windows. I set the boot priority to my USB. Maybe there’s a problem on the EFI file’s
READ ---> if you get stuck on the command interface after booting into the MacOS installer, move your flash drive to a USB 2.0 port. Mine was in a 3.0 and would freeze. Also use USB ports on the back of your motherboard, not the ones on top of your PC chasse if you are still having issues. The port makes a big difference.
@@o_Gui_Oliveira sounds like an EFI issue. try putting the new efi stuff in both the windows partition and mac one. EFI tells the pc what to do when it boots, so if it is not done right then it wont work right either. Ensuring you have the correct EFI download for your processor sounds important too.
@@josh.miller Thanks! I have a Ryzen 5 3600. I downloaded an EFI for that one, but maybe it's not working correctly. Do you know one for this processor?
Thanks for the god tutorial! Question: do I need to do the EFI part post-installation if I want to dual boot into Windows, will that make the PC boot directly into MacOS? Thanks
Great video. I have installed macOS Sonama into Dell 7490. but my keyboard, touchpad, WiFi and sounds seems to be not working. Anyone have any fix for this. Thanks in advance

since long i was trying to do this. This video took me to success! Great work! After successfully installing macOS on a partition along with windows, how can i boot into windows again? I mean multiboot
Glad it worked. Mount your system EFI and create a new folder. Then copy EFI files from your USB to the system EFI partition inside the folder you created.
after flashing and installing the partition software it didnt show me EFI(FAT32) FOR ME TO PROCEED THE PROCESS. WHAT TO DO ? BTW I AM USING A SD CARD TO DO THE PROCESS
