Unfortunately, due to the many variation of how routers handle that feature, it is nearly impossible to make a video to cover yours unless I had one. But go in and find your routers settings, Find Port Forwarding, add, and enter the port for your minecraft server, and enter the IP address of the machine your server is set up on. This will most likely be a 192.168.x.x number but may vary depending on your router.

I had this same issue and resolved it myself. Keep this in mind you have a public and private IP address and to have your friends join they would need your public IP address. At the same time giving out your public IP address is dangerous so make sure you trust these people, just some advice before moving forward. I use Verizon as my provider, so you can give them a call as ask about port forwarding and they will forward you to a technician which will help you set this sort of thing up. For me, on the back of my router I had a url and admin username and password to login and control difference aspects of my router, which allowed me to port forward. Your dashboard for your provider might be different but you have to insert the port of the MC server and then the private IP address of the server + the port of the MC server. I also checked a bunch of setting in the Verizon portal to allow people to connect. I'd just truly suggest calling your provider, getting a tech on the line and be honest with them, I told my tech I'm setting up a gaming server and he walked me through the settings I need to check. Just have your private IP address to the server/computer hosting the MC server + the port for the server ready on hand.

Toward the end of the video will be the section where you ftp connect. No shares or anything are needed. The ip address will be whatever the IP address is of your server itself.

Did you change the file to the file the video said too? You will need tondownload and upload paper mcdonalds and set it to load that.

@@thekel5682 Then that is your problem. As the video states, MineOS requires a java version that is not included in MineOS. You have to use PaperMC. PaperMC itself is not a mod and will allow your server to run. Simply refollow the tutorial in this video and just don't add any mods. Otherwise, you will not be able to run a server on TrueNAS Scale.
