This video solved a problem I had months ago, I gave up basically, and now I'm ecstatic to program from my laptop- just had to update those drivers!!! Thanks so much!! Now to figure out how to create scenes for theater ;D
Thanks for this... I was puzzled why my Mac was working fine, switch over to my PC and nothing - I did check the drivers and saw that they were installed according to the device manager. I've just done this with the drivers from the website and it's fixed it. Thanks from Australia! :)
I did all that and now ShowXpress is recognising the box (I have the D512) and saying there's one universe found, but on the front of the box I'm only getting the blue power light, no PC Link light. Any solutions?
I've tried this several times in several different ways and I can't get showxpress to recognize my 1024 interface. Every time I open up showxpress it gives me an "incompatible device please remove" warning. When I go to the device manager it tells me everything is working properly. I don't know what else to do.
I have one of the original 512 boxes, not the "512s" version, and I was getting the same error message. Only way I got it to work was copy the drivers off another computer that was working to put on my laptop, and now it finally works on the laptop. I guess they are older drivers than what is on the web page, but they work.
Is your blue light on in the front of your unit? Is your green light blinking confirming connection? Try changing out your USB cable if these questions are no. Then reach out and we will take the next steps.
But what if you don't have ShowXpress on your laptop to begin with? I did everything on this video and it all was successful but when you get to the part where you "open showxpress" there is no showxpress on my laptop. It looked like you already had the application on your laptop, I don't. How can I open showxpress when it is not there to open?
Hi DJ Jer, I cant seen to find those drivers on the website. The link provided by show express does not work. Do you have any solutions or could you share the drivers with me?
Crazy it seems like their site is currently down. Here is our backup that we have on our google drive. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1grhWiFz_rsEMiZuNqrBtfM7JekgecdOY?usp=sharing
Do you have this issues on a mac as well? I thought it was a PC issue. I don't use mac so I didn't know it was an issue. Let me know asap and I will see if I can figure it out for you.
