@Garrett Plays I have a small issue about the Assets info menu, I was selecting the charger and went to Plugins it didn´t show me a edit symbol, yes I checked if I had the right one (the Texture2D Type) and tryed to edit it but there is no edit button in the Plugins option and the only difference between your vid and my prob is just the ID path yours is 1020 and mine is 1122 but I don´t Think the Problem is there do you have any other tipp to fix this problem?

For those of you having issues not seeing the Edit button: When you open the resource file located in the game directory via the Unity Assets Bundle Extractor, you will get a list of options in the directory. Select the last option on the list. After that, the edit button will be there. If that doesnt work, try one of the other options in the directory. Otherwise you got a different cause to your issue.

Garrett, Thanks for the mod installation video. You explained everything very well, it should now be easy to add skin mods to Flashing Lights. About five minutes ago, I installed my first Police Vehicle skin.

@ Garrett Plays I was finally able to change the default textures that had made me start to get bored with the game. But now Pandora's box is open and all kinds of textures are waiting to please my eye. Thank you very much for this tutorial. 😊👍

Just because this is a *new* thing that is happening. If you're having *DXT1Crunched* in the "Texture Format" then chose *DXT1* as shown in the video. If you're having *DXT5Crunched* in the "Texture Format" then chose *DXT5* As this will happen for mostly all textures from now on. Cheers C.Ritter

Also this is different if you have a mac computer! You will need a windows computer and you will need to change the files there and send them to your mac. If you have questions about anything it is better to ask on discord on the Flashing Lights discord server.

When you open the ABE there should be a little box that opens up with different versions of the ABE you need to scroll down and click the last option in that box and than the edit button will should up when you hit plugins

Hey there mate I did everything you said on here and for some reason I cant seem to edit the vehicle skin when I am on the unity assets bundle extractor I found the police_2_body_D which is the 2D one and when I go to Plugins there isn't any edit on there just to the export ones do you know what could be wrong?

I have an issue, when I open file "resources.assets" in Assets Bundle Extractor it shows "Select a type of database" and "No type database matches the player version 2018.4.30f". I need to select one of 23 databases, first is U3.4.0f5 and last is U2018.3.0f2. I tried to change the texture of the vehicle in the first and last file but it doesn't work :(

You may of done something wrong. You should backup the game and try again.

Can you do multiple? When I try to save the resource it says "This file exists, do you want to replace it?" And when I change the name, to resource.assets explorer the mod doesn't work.

Make sure you save it somewhere else and then drag the file into your folder

You can do multiple, make sure you changed the TEXTURE not MATERIAL, if you are doing material, do texture or else it wont work

There isn't really a reason to check if your PC is 64 bit, because you need a 64 bit PC for flashing lights to run.

Right and most games nowadays are only 64bit. The 32bit is mainly just for work PCs really.
