How to Install MySQL on Mac [2024]

mysql -u root -p..... there should be a space between "root" and '-p"

use your password at most importantly its case sensitive .

touch .zshrc before open .zshrc if you are getting this error zsh: command not found: mysql then follow instructions mentioned in the video

Check the version you downloaded. I downloaded a higher version for my OS at first which caused the problem you've got. But I changed the OS to the correct one and then it worked

@@Vampeere I have checked it, my OS version and mysql version both are upto date. But now I have installed lower version of mysql and still tried to edit .zshrc file but couldn't do it. Then I thought it won't work in my pc but when I took the courage to work with mysql then it never showed any error. I think I never needed to edit this .zshrc file.
