Hi to M Al, I missed your question on comments, I can't find it to reply directly from the comment side, but I think you're having troubles to start gvm right? If it is so, first try to correct the issue GVM 21 is not installed following the steps in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1wRgzEk_EO0.html and after that try to start openvas services para typing: sudo gvm-start and if the problem persist, please type: sudo gvm-check-setup and share with me the output so I can help you.

i removed the 0 and make it #GSA_MAJOR="22.5" but when i rerun sudo gvm-check-setup the error is still there ERROR: Your GVM-23.11.0 installation is not yet complete! how can i fix that?plz

Hello, try to update feeds with this command: sudo gvm-feed-update and after that try to check setup again, and also make sure you're using the right version of Postgresql, check this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uhXsr6OZ0Yo.html

Hi, well if you have space issue, you can try to delete some files? If that is not any option and you want to use OpenVas for test only, consider to use GSM Trial, you can download it from the openvas website.

Hi, so I have OpenVas (gvm 11) installed on my Kali Linux machine for work, but it hasn't been used in almost a year. I wanted to use it today, but as you can imagine, my software is outdated. How can I update to the most up to date gvm (being 21.04)?

Hi @Jay, as OpenVas (gvm) is integrated on Kali Linux, The best thing to do is to update the entire Kali linux what will cover the OpenVas and it's dependencies. After that you will be using the latest version of OpenVas GVM. 1. sudo apt update 2. sudo apt full-upgrade -y

@@jkd32332 after upgrade just check the setup to ensure that everything is ok by typing: sudo gvm-check-setup If no error message is shown, you can start the gvm: sudo gvm-start

@@openvas3238 unfortunately, I’m stuck at the error where no users are found. I followed everything you said to do… but it’s still not creating a user for me… Even though all I’m doing is just updating my gvm.
